Just emailed my NRCS agent. I got the urban high tunnel grant last year! Rebar in the ground makes them so much sturdier. I also made my own bender, def worth just buying one in my opinion.

Sweet! If you do end up getting a pool cover roller I definitely recommend getting a heavier duty one. I bought a $200 one off Amazon and I already had to replace the handle once. I’ll probably go to the local pool supply store for my next one so I can see I person before I buy. Thanks for commenting and following along 🙏

We do the same thing here in Australia to protect our beds from cold. This past 12 months has been heavy rain consistently so I have lengths of high tunnel plastic that I place over the hoops if we are going to have prolonged rain to stop the beds getting too water logged. Ive just come in from mulching and watering (3.5 hours) now it’s time for some lunch. Im using rio on our raised beds spaced along the 5 metre rows and than place ag line over to form our arches, this helps to place netting over as well to stop the native birds pulling out my seedlings. Glad I found your channel :)

Not looking for pity. I'm gonna kick the hell out of this and move on. Hopefully, I can share you some photos.I love every episode i've seen

Thanks Steve 👊 happy to hear you’re in the up and up! My sister is also a cancer survivor. And my father is in poor health due to diabetes and never taking care of his body. It’s my motivation to stay healthy 👊

Yeah for sure! I went in to apply for a high tunnel grant (which I also got, more to come on grants, and high tunnels). And the lady asked "Do you want low tunnels also". I said Heck yeah, I want low tunnels also! Hey! thanks for always commenting! I appreciate your support!
