    There should never be a statute of limitations for murder, torture, or crimes against children. The legal system is forever letting everyone down

    • @kallista5194
      @kallista5194 Pƙed 4 dny

      It is designed to. There is a deep, age-old belief that men can't control themselves, and the victims somehow deserve whatever happened, and the lives of the men committing the crimes are worth so much more than whoever they were "tempted" by.
      As long as we live in patriarchal systems, men will continue to get away with all of this.

And one day my cousin who lived near by was playing with me suddenly this man comes and asked him to help him with something in his house. My cousin was acting weird so my mom felt something and looked through the window and saw the man taking my cousin to the back of his house. After sometime my cousin came back and was not in his usual self my mom knew something was off and told my cousin's mom about it and she asked him about the incident. He broke down in tears and told his mom and dad everything. That man was SAing him for a while. He took my cousin to someplaces very far from our hometown SAed him and filmed it. He also showed him the spy cams videos he took of our neighbours using the washroom and showering. They didn't report it to the police because they were probably concerned about my cousin's future. The Statute of limitation thing has always baffled me. Why does it exist, other than to give the perpetrator a chance to be completely free of consequences for their crimes if they can get away with it for a certain period of time. What’s the purpose of such a policy? Why do the lawmakers sympathise with the perpetrators so much that they would rob the victims of justice and dignity???

I have yet to escape. What I discovered less than a year ago, after 19 years together, is pretty bad, but nothing as bad as this video. However, I’m not certain I’ve found everything yet. I’m being very careful and putting all my energy into acting “normal” so I can keep digging.

If they have become angels let them be guardians and if they are lost then I pray they will be found. To the families and loved ones we stand together with you from countries all around the world. I sit in the 🇬🇧 hopeful that they return that are never hungry or cold or alone again. As somebody grieving a past life due to a illness and two souls loss is something you learn to live with and adjust to that space forever empty, so you smile and hide behind that pain praying for something silly as a time machine.
