That was out at Lake George when it was dry (about 20km by 8km dead flat with short grass). Unfortunately it is now a very shallow lake (it will dry up soon) and we are limited to a very short takeoff on the side.
      Have fun. Fly safe.

Just saw your post. Super nice! I've only got a few flights on my trike and haven't done much powered taxing but I know I should. I like the marks on the mirror, I'll do that and try to do some large circles to learn. Thanks for sharing.!!

Yes, practice taxing is VERY important ... if the wing is up you are flying the wing.
      Have fun, Fly safe.

Peter films Peter, I think I recognize the sound of a Kawasaki ? Wish I could land anything that well 👍

Very nicely done! I wish I had such a large area to practice. I've been working on better crosswind control but each run must soon end with abort or takeoff. Still, it's fun to be able to launch or land in any direction.

Yes, Lake George is a fantastic place to fly. So flat with few obstructions.

Thanks! Nice to see some help for the wheeled launch folks. Do you have anything on cross-wind take offs? Thanks again.

Your welcome. We can all learn from each other. I'll do some cross wind experimentation and post the good (and bad). Have fun, fly safe.

What trim setting do you use whenever taking off

    • @DrPeteParamotor

I (almost always) launch with the trims in neutral position (recommended setting on my MacPara Blaze GT). This corresponds to a flying speed of about 46kph or 26kts.
