Both are great banjos for anyone starting out and would be great for any musician to get in on a jam, bothe will do the job. If you like the content, please like, share, subscribe, and comment below, if I'm wrong on the terminology, please comment to me cause I'm not familiar with banjo parts, thank you in advance.

I just got a Deering Good Time 2 (resonator) - hard case, extra strings, leather strap for $499 free shipping. Sounded like a good deal and it doesn’t even look like it was played. I’m probably going to remove the resonator to make it lighter. I’ll see when I get it. ❤❤❤ How do you like yours & how much/often do you practice?

@@chicksgrowtoo I bought it for my Son for Christmas he’s never played a 5 string before but plays Tenor Banjo mandolin and guitar in my Irish Band so we’ll see how he goes on with this as it’s a totally different animal. He won’t get it till the 28th as he’s in Newcastle with his GF. I printed some free chord charts from google and shoved them in the case which are handy so we’ll see how he gets on. Good luck with your new instrument. His tenor banjo is a Gold Tone an early US model. Happy new year from Yorkshire England.

The Deering sounds better than the Washburn. The Washburn has a more,”Hollow,” sound. The Deering is made of Maple and that’s probably why I like it better
