1. After powering on, the five indicators (from left to right: red, yellow, green, yellow, green) flashes once to let you know whether they work normally.
2. Only the red indicator lights up constantly in the whole process until you exit the APP (eg. Torque).
3. Open the APP again, the red indicator glows constantly. 3s later, the yellow and green indicators flash. Another 2s later, all the left 4 indicators flash quickly when there is data transmission.
4. After disconnecting the WIFI or exiting from the APP, only the red indicator lights up.

Okay guys ELM 327 plug it in. Turn the key on. Make sure the Wi-Fi on your phone is on and refresh. Connect to the adapter Wi-Fi. The adapter does not connect to your Wi-Fi

Question, my ELM327 arrived in ADHOC mode (stupid) for 6 years i would use it searching non stop for an STN or Infrastructre mode or Version of the product, one day i decided to see if port 80 is open , it was (HTTP GUI), i switched it to Station mode, i entered SSD, Encryption (WPA2PSK CCMP) and the key ( even kept a screen shot) the ELM327 connects a few seconds to the AP and disconnects. I made sure the AP is set to the same Encryption type, and key... I even set a static/Fixed in the ELM327 .. Any tips? The unit is close to AP, tried many APs, legacy, wrt54g, dd-wrt. different channels. no go ...

I have exactly this adapter, and I can also connect with the WiFi, but no application can connect to it...
Is it ok to install it and just forget about it? I have removing it everytime
yeah I leave mine plug in all the time, and when I get a checklight I open the app and clear the code.
