This message is for your mom, Tiffany: Mama, I know that you are going through a difficult time right now, worrying about your daughter’s health, and watching her go through treatment. This has not been an easy time. The reason I know this is because, like you, my daughter was critically ill at one point, with a life-threatening infection. The feelings of worry were overwhelming and crushing. There were many, many prayers sent up and my daughter recovered. Just like Tiffany will recover. She is young, strong, smart, and has a strong support system and a positive attitude. Keep the faith, even when things get scary and you don’t know what to do. Just be there. Cuddle her. Offer her your healing food. And mostly pray. Tiffany will get through this, and so will you
You're scared of the unknown - as anyone would be. You'll feel much better once today is behind you and you know what to expect. I promise.

This post breaks my heart. It makes me remember my own cancer journey 12 years ago. The first day of chemo was terrifying. I got through the first one and 6 more sessions after that. You will get through it sweetheart! Sending you a million hugs 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Please don’t dismiss your feelings. You are incredibly strong but in moments of weakness, allow yourself to feel sad and scared. They aren’t bad feelings - it’s normal to feel all the emotions considering what you’re going through. Of course, we want you to stay strong but just wanted to remind you it’s okay to feel what you feel. ♥️
Seconded! I keep thinking she's hurting herself in the long term if she doesn't let herself feel her feelings.
I think you reflect what any of us would feel - fear, dread, hope, courage. I will say you have more courage than I ever would. You're an inspiration to a lot of people.

Tiffany, you are amazing! I’m a Chemo Nurse and it broke my heart knowing how much fear you had before your chemo treatment. It’s ok to cry; I wished I was there with you to let you know you were ok and you ARE going to be healthy and look back on this period in your life and do exactly what you’re doing; being extremely grateful for so many things. Your positivity is so inspiring. The unknown is super scary but you got through it so gracefully. You inspire me every time I watch your videos. You are right; we’re all here for you, crying with you; praying along side of you. Oh Lisa what a beautiful message! I’ve worked on the chemo ward, and also fought cancer and it was the support and kindness of the nurses that kept me going so many times. Thankyou for the work you do…………….from Australia
@Nurse Lisa it's not just Tiffany! I think it's a lot of chemo patients... I'm starting in 2 weeks and I'm literally stressing myself sick! Crying, panic, GI issues, just from the stress, so terrified... watching videos like this helps, though... she got through it... I probably can, too!

Oh Tiffany, this was such a poignant and beautiful video (albeit a sad one). You are so strong, as you say, and you have the prayers of your family and of us to carry you through this chapter in your life. You carry light in your heart, which we can see through your selflessness and kindness. I hope that chemo helps to heal you, and that soon this will all just be part of another memory and another time. I came close to death aged 17, and now at 23 it really does feel like a different lifetime. Following you and sending you and your loved ones positivity and warmth every step of the way. 💖✨

Tiffany, I am on this journey with you and know you will be triumphant!! You have a treatment plan and that can be counted as one of your big blessings 🙌 Your cancer CAN be treated and in turn WILL be beaten. Each time you think to yourself "why me??", scream out loud "TRY ME!!". Easier said than done BUT once that 1st chemo appointment is done and you hear your numbers from tests getting better, you will beat this. Love and light all the way from South Africa🇿🇦
I thought it was really important what you said about not stressing and not putting too much pressure on yourself and that includes on yourself in relation to your cancer battle. It's okay to cry, it's okay to be sad, it's okay to need your family and for them to see you vulnerable. I had guilt too when I battled Stage 2 Breast Cancer. I had a year of treatment including six chemo treatments, three surgeries, radiation and five years of hormone blockers. It gave me a whole new perspective on life, and my number one takeaway is that we have to be live out of love and to let ourselves be loved. We become human through the unconditional love learnt through caring for those who may never be able to reciprocate. It's good to let yourself be cared for. It's important both for you and those around you. Sending all my love in your journey!

Tiff. You probably will never see this which makes me sad because if you didn't know...Your "heart is content and full" that is GRACE my friend. God has covered you with peace and grace, remember that. It's letting you know everything is going to be OK! You have been given the gift and blessing of Grace.
Even though I still feel scared sometimes on this cancer journey I always remember that feeling of peace and Grace, content, full. and I am able to re-enter.

It's so interesting to see you being administered your FOLFOX - for the last two years I was working for the NHS making chemotherapy such as the FOLFOX bolus, IV and baxter pumps, but we (pharmacy staff) never got to see the patients we treat as we're always in the lab making them. I'm now at university studying nursing to hopefully become a cancer nurse. Its so heartwarming seeing your story and spreading your message, including the good and tough times. It makes me so grateful to have been involved in a job that helps people with cancer. Keep going, you're an absolute star!

Know the nurses at your hospital are great, so know you are in safe hands!
My father has been diagnosed with colon cancer and now has a stoma but like yourself know he shared the same emotions as yourself. He is now positive and strong.
What a blessing. Out of this tragedy God is blessing you with wisdom and knowledge. Every situation in life, good or bad, has a purpose. Try and understand the lesson and gather those nuggets of wisdom and use your journey to help others. Sending you big hugs!!!❤️❤️

If I may make a suggestion, I think maybe seeing a therapist would be good for you. I'm the first one to advocate for therapy always, but especially in a situation like this I think it would be so helpfull. You are so strong, but I think a therapist that you can "scare" with your moments of weakness - which are normal - would help! I'm keeping you in my thoughts
I think so too. It's very much a mental journey getting through this as it is physical.
Your strong you'll kick cancers butt it's the unknown that's all xx

You have no idea how inspiring you are. I went thru the same thing with my mom and dad and I realized the scariest part is the unknown. The first time is the hardest but then you will be fine. They have come a long way with making treatment easier. I’m sending you positive and healing vibes.
Tiffany all the emotions you are feeling are completely normal. I have been a chemotherapy nurse for 32 years. Your courage and determination and the love of your family and friends will help you get through this journey. It completely sucks that you are unable to have a support person with you. It breaks my heart having to implement this rule in my workplace but I’m sure there will be some lovely kind and compassionate nurses to help you through this. You are so strong! I’ve learned strength isn’t not being scared. It’s when we’re scared and put one foot in front of the other anyways. The fact that you’re sharing your journey, along with your vulnerabilities is such a gift to so many others. Another thing I’ve learned that might be helpful is there are no “shoulds” in terms of feelings. You feel what you feel. And all feelings are okay. Even the scary ones. And usually they will come in waves. You are so loved and supported and can lean on your loved ones, including us whenever you want. We are all here for you. You are such a loving, giving person and so reaching out if and when you need to gives others the chance to comfort you. You will get through this and come out even stronger. You will be fine by the Lord's grace and blessings.. I cried.... I was nearly wanted to lose my womb due to the fibrods. I was praying always. Prayers is always strong babe. My fiance always used to say, be positive. Be positive and everything will be changed and all will be smoothly be alright for you. Eat healthy fruits and foods. Dont eat junk foods. Do yoga and simple exercises. Try to do fruit juice, such as; beetroot, carrot and papaya. These are good for your health. Never lose you faiths and hopes in HIM. I know what it is to be. I lost my cousin brother who battled blood cancer in 2004. He was same age as me. He gave up. But you dnt give up..be strong and fight those odds all!! Lord always put us on test and we have to fight back those challenges. Take care and you will be fine Tiffany. He is great for all he loves us so much. Amen🙏🙏
Don't think of your fears or even tears, as weakness. It's only the strong who can show their true feelings, rather than paste on a fake smile. And to bare your soul for the world, just to help someone who may be going (or may someday go) through the same thing, makes you basically a superhero.

Hi my lovely you definitely got this . I went through chemotherapy last year due to breast cancer for 6 months . Had my bresst off then had radiotherapy and 18hesepin injections at home . Its a long road but you will get through it . I'm waiting to have my other breast removed and can't wait 🤗 ha . You got a wonderful supportive family by your side ❤ so did I. You are a warrior and you’ve got this! The unknown scares you, but after today it won’t be so scary! My momma was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer 10 years ago and….. is doing great! The initial surgery removed the tumors and chemo kept it from coming all the way back. She now has yearly scans and blood work now. Praying for you and your family Tiffany! 🙏🏻❤️
It’s super normal to feel anxious about things you don’t know about. Especially when it comes to your health. I’ve been chronically ill for 6 yrs and I still get nervous with new procedures, meds, etc. Feel your feels and then when you get done with your first treatment then you will know more and be more prepared with what you need to take with you and do while your getting treatments. YOU’VE GOT THIS!!!! 🥰

I know your frightened baby girl, but you can do this dont be afraid of not feeling like "You got this" all the time its ok to feel scared unsure and every emotion under the sun. Somtimes your mindset will change minute by minute, and thats ok. I had tounge cancer age 34 with two daughters under five. Chemo and radiation scary but you'll do fine. My dear girl, you are one of the bravest people around. It's perfectly normal to be scared. It's okay to be scared and emotional. This is the beginning of one of the hardest things you will experience in your lifetime and you're handling it with such grace and courage. Cry if you feel like you need to , there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Your friends and family and Matt seem like they're very supportive, lean on them when you need to. You'll find that by leaning on them, it will help them feel like they're helping you , especially since they can't be with you in the treatment room. This is the beginning of your Cancer battle but you'll get thru it and win to live a long and happy life. I'll keep you in my prayers.
