Very clean tutorial of changing engine oil and have been following all your videos and by your experience which engine oil performs better especially during hot summer MOTOREX or MOTUL 300V or MOTUL 7100 or AMSOIL or PUTOLINE...Thanks

If I should choose between Motorex or Motul, I would choose Motul 7100. I am not used Amsoil or Putoline, so I can not say for sure. I am currently using Motul 7100 10W50, which I think plenty good for me. Here, the max summer temp is around 40-45°C (104-113 F)

@@Mr.Bearded.Mechanic Thank you😊 btw am from India and here the summer are like close to 50°c and very dusty all over the year and I do own KTM Duke 200 so after how many kilometres you prefer to change the Engine Oil due to this bad wheather conditions here to maintain the Engine life as good as new.

@cah7925 I see. If I am right, the factory change interval for your bike is at every 7500 km/yearly. I would change on every 2-3000 km with an air filter. Your bike needs at least 10W-40, and on 2015 Duke 200 owner's manual, I checked, it says you can use 15W-50 (up to 50°C) for a hot climate, so that is the way.

@@Mr.Bearded.Mechanic Thank you for your tip...😊
My bike manual recommended 20w50 and btw which coolant you recommend me to use in this hot whether conditions

@cah7925 You're welcome. Then you should use 20W-50 from any high-end engine oil, you cannot miss any of them. I like Motul🙂.
Motul has an additive called MoCool, which helps with heat transfer (Motul states it can lower the coolant temp by 15°C). My bike has it, and I never had an overheating issue in traffic.

Hi mate any reason you went from motul 300v to motul 7100 , looking at doing mine soon but don’t fancy paying motorex prices 😅

Hey there. The reason I went back to 7100 was only the price difference. Both are excellent oils (Ester vs. Double Ester), far better than Motorex. I am not using my bike on track so the extra benefits that come with the 300V are not noticeable (for me anyway). Go with the 7100 🛢✌🏻👍🏻

What happens if you take that rubber piece on the end of the oil filter off by accident???? Sorry, I'm actually stupid.
