I'm a white guy, I just said screw it and went from 0-1million in a single choice with a ghost pepper sauce.
Now I eat ghost sauces regularly. Smoked peppers always burn less than non-smoked. Have some milk and tums handy and just go for it. If you find a tasty enough sauce it's easy to build up tolerance.
I hated even jalapeno peppers growing up.

Cucumbers are also good for tolerating spicy foods. When I was younger , I tried I spicy food , I forgot the name of it though. My dad told me to put my tongue on a cucumber, and then eat it. It works better than water in my opinion
