Georgia is such an underrated actor, it’s a traumatic storyline but she’s about the only one who can deliver it so convincingly.
I actually thought that this was one of Nicks best acting moments, I’ve always liked Toyah.
Agree! Empathy, I was wondering…. With Peter, that could have gone really harsh quickly.
@@Smooshes786 I think Peter would have been as supportive as Nick was.The only time he was angry and hurt at Toyah was when she lied that Susie was their child and was forced to admit the baby was Eva's and Aidan's.For his part Nick was not at all sympathetic or supportive to Leanne when Oliver died ]being more concerned about his new son Sam] so he comes off a being hyporcritcal being supportive of Toyah when he wouldn't support Leanne.
Unfortunately this dead baby storyline is a contrived ploy for Toyah and Nick to have an affair..
Incredibly sad story but its the first time I've liked Toyah's acting and character

Bad storyline to follow months of bad storylines. Anyone who watched CS in 2001 like I did, knows there is no way on earth Toyah was pregnant or had a stillborn baby that she buried.

So is this why she is obsessed with nicking other people's babies and passing them off as her own? Trauma from that loss that she never dealt with. She tried tricking Peter into believing Suzie was theirs through surrogate when she was Eva and Aiden's baby, and she tried keeping Alfie from Abbie. She has been obsessed with babies

She kidnapped him and was willing to off herself and Jack because she couldn't cope with the loss of her own infant/toddler son who had drowned a few years before
But Toyah can't have kids, right? That was her whole story arc when she was with Peter and Imran so... why could she have them over 20 years ago and not now? She was supposed to be infertile

she had a lot of miscarriages and from this the baby she did manage to birth was a stillborn
I am still trying to figure out how she was pregnant, gave birth and buried her baby at the park

She couldn’t have, the timeline doesn’t match so this storyline is essentially retconning the older story.

@ohwell94 I was actually looking for this comment thank you! If you look up her storyline on CZcams the police woman actually tells Toyah they're giving her the morning after pill as a precaution, so how on earth did she get pregnant??😅😅

It will be the usual wash rinse repeat of pregnant, sneaking around, secret keeping, finding out, finger pointing/blame game,separating, hating one another, some kind of crisis that unites them all then co parenting
Or maybe for a twist it going all woke and Toyah tells her up front saying she resumed IV and Nick was the doner then back to the same old same old
Or her taking off showing up with a baby she adopted from the Ukraine or something
as a father that has gone through child loss, this was a tough one to watch.

Remembering how Toyah was so nasty to Abi who also didn't realise she was pregnant with Alfie until she went into labor and even tried to keep Alfie[ and Susie \for herself,I don't feel sorry for Toyah.I don't understand how with all the blood in her room how Janice and Les didn't notice that something was wrong.Dare I say this but I think Toyah is cold hearted to bury her daughter in the park deny her existence all these years and go on with her life as though nothing happened.
This storyline should have been done years ago and toyah should have said something years ago not leave it till now ok what if there were people going to build houses on that plot of land would toyah smash up the diggers and all the other machinery as well and really poor thing this is the same toyah who killed imran and really coronation street a trigger warning at the start

Nick has been a great support to Toyah through all of this and shows he cares, I had a feeling she would end up telling him. I just wish the writers hadn't given them that 'moment' afterwards now it looks like they are going to have an affair. Why do they do that in soaps couldn't it of just been that he supported her and care for her as a brother-in-law not make it anything more than family??!!!

There was a real story of a girl giving birth in her bathroom, alone and claiming the child was still born withoit the parent knowing. She buried the baby in the back garden. She was sent to prison.

where? women are not usualy sent to prison for concealing a birth as they are usually traumatised.

True to life that happened to my late mother she lost a baby like that before they adopted me so it can happen 😊very sad story line but very realistic

The writers love writing female trauma narratives so much that they made an already established female trauma storyline (that was closer to reality) even more traumatic, probably to get off on all the womens tears they get to add to the script.
Toyah’s next storyline is gonna be like oh I’m pregnant somehow omg I had a successful child I’m so happy oh no the baby got hit by a random truck, classic toyah storyline.
