Beautiful photo and video work, brother! I just picked up an xh2 myself for wedding videos this year. Autofocus has def improved, but I don’t use face/eye for paid work anyways. Reallyyyyyy hoping they’ll update firmware so we can change iso with the command dial like the xt4. Even changing iso with buttons is fine, but it doesn’t show exposure changes the way previous gens did. Ibis in video is now great for me. Doesn’t have a major jump or jitter the way previous gens did. Keep up the solid work! Subbed. :)
Also HATE the flip out screen for photos as it is so slow to deploy and put back. So the X-T5 is really tempting to also add to the bag. But kills me they did away with a grip option for it. So dumb.
Late to this video, but on A7iv and previously Z6ii. I'd love to hear you elaborate a bit on your journey. I'm looking for close quality, Nikon-ish colors, smaller system, affordable to 600mm zoom options. If I stay Sony I'll get the Tamron 50-400 and 20-40 (replace my 28-200). The X-H2 with Tamron 17-70 and XF 70-300 + 1.4TC would give me all the reach I'd want, with the viewfinder/lcd resolution I miss. Would love to hear your thoughts on why you are enjoying the X-H2. Also curious how the latest fw improved the AF. Thanks!
@@cohoonatube I just recently switched from A7III to X-H2 and I have to admit that I am very disappointed. Yes, great colours, photos look exactly like what you have on the back of the camera. But the focus is terrible and the photos when you zoom on the face look very muddy and pixelated, also battery life isn't that great. Really not a fan. I feel like I went backwards rather than forward. I' am going to stick to using my A7III and might use the X-H2 if I am planning on doing no editing.
You have a really nice editing style; I also have the XH2, love the images out of it but I miss the dials of the XT5 and feel it's a bit small for me, like it's chunky but I prefer it to be a little taller in the body, I could be swapping.
Hi! I am just curious, at minute 4 you are showing some pictures, did you use a film sim on that one? And which one? I can’t seem to find this type or colorset and I love it! It is a bit dark but looks so cool!! I am using the x100v btw! Would love to hear! X
I’m not the person you’re asking but here’s my opinion: I have both and make videos for my 2 CZcams channels plus I take real estate photos and shoot pics of my kids. I find that when I know I’m doing a longer or more important video I reach for the XH2S. When I’m mostly shooting stills I grab the XH2. But I use both interchangeably. Either is a massive step up in autofocus from XT4. I shoot videos lately wide open at F1.2 and just leave it in eye AF and it’s great. Not Sony perfect but I think it’s 90%+ there.
I just sold my x-t5. Get an x-t5 if you like the dials and smaller size/weight. (I hated the dials) Otherwise get the x-h2. It has a few technical advantages over the x-t5.
If I was only focusing on Photography, I would get the X-T5 because it's more compact and has a 3-way tilt screen. Plus you save a little bit of money since it's priced cheaper than the XH2.

i was a sony guy and now i have xt3, xh2s and xh2 ! but in terms of focusing i think sony its better ...

Love my XH2 but hate that they didn't make the dials pushable and HATE that can't make one of the dials ISO vs the dedicated button. makes zero sense.
Have you tried the XT5? Currently deciding between XH2 vs XT5 for weddings. I've had all the XTs in the past but I held the XH2 and wow ! So nice

Solid video. I use a Fuji XT4, as a hybrid shooter which camera will be the best upgrade XH2 or XH2s? I'm keeping my Fuji XT4 but it will be my B cam.
