For me it was webcomics and forums for years until settling on 4chan in the mid 00's and just staying forever. I have a different view on old forum culture than Pippa, it felt like being in a prison in some ways. Celebrity forum users were the biggest pieces of shit for the most part aside from a few cool ones.

Actually played pso2 a lot a while back. NGS (new genesis) is basically an entire separate game that is hooked onto base pso2. It's still a gacha hell with a shit story, but it's a lot more fluid gameplay wise and is a lot prettier. You can even freely use cosmetics on base pso2 in ngs and vice-versa.

Adventure Quest was a fun one playing. I can't believe you took its story seriously LOL
I dunno if you ever played RF Online but that was an interesting MMO too. 1v1v1 pvp factions with tiny people in mechs, elves with summons, and just robot chads who were naturally strong. It had what I considered early on one of the most interesting dungeon concepts. It was time based you went in and tried to blitz it as fast as you can and keep going before time ran up to get more rewards.
E: Don't abuse that nyquil. You don't wanna drink too much of it. Its taxing on your liver after a few days.

I played Adventure Quest and Mech Quest and a few others. I'm not sure what you would call Millsberry or like Poptropica. The former being an advergame but it was still fun as shit while childish at the same time. I can't remember but I remember a glitch in AQ and Millsberry that got me "popular" with the more popular kids. I was the nerdy athlete but for some reason our middle school had everyone playing those styles of games cause we didn't care if we ruined the school provided laptops that were like Macintosh or something. We didn't have computer labs so that was the solution, beats me if it was supposedly cheaper. Half of these, I remember playing and just the right nostalgic hit to bring serotonin.

I grew up on 00's internet. I used to have a big list of webcomics i'd read religiously and yeah one of them was Sluggy Freelance. Irritability was such an underrated webcomic. I used to spend a lot of time on forums before someone reminded me 4chan existed in the mid 00's and I wound up giving up on forums and spending the rest of my internet days there even till today. Yeah it's not the same and it's pretty shitty in a lot of ways but there's really nowhere else i'd rather be online.

For reference in WoW we refer to Brazilians as "jajas" and there is a list of servers you DO NOT under ANY circumstance play with. As time has gone on there have been a shit ton of drama from people arguing that it's unfair to blacklist people from those servers even though they're very much known for hard throwing in any content you group with them on. Do most people care about this knowledge? Nope, but I felt like it'd be interesting to share.
God I was so hyped for Tera pre-release then proceed to hate my class Mystic until 6 months in where I decided to try every single class just to find something fun. I hated all of them as well, except one : The Lancer. The playstyle is so crisp that it wasn't until Sekiro came out that I could find some similar to how the Lancer played. When I picked up Menma Tera, I realized they fking disabled Guardian Barrier for Lancer on certain instances and proceed to quit the server on the spot.

Crystal Saga was my first dive into p2w garbage, and a several thousand dollar lesson for me to never play mobile game p2w trash ever again, lol.
I got into closed Beta of Metin 2, but once it went f2p and got flooded with ppl, the economy was fucked and the game turned to dog shit, lol. Classes where unbalanced too, a warrior could aggro 50 things and cleave it all down, while my weak ass mage had to kill 1 or 2 things at a time.

its pretty obvious from the other 2 terms pippa mentioned that they just had their blacklist set up to include any terms that include blacklisted words.
like r*pe in grape, or semen in basement (dunno about uncle though; not sure how that would relate to wokeness though, is there some leftist opposition to uncles that i dont know about?). i dont think they banned those terms in their kids game because they were incredibly woke, not to mention that even if they were, the "war on christmas" is a made up narrative spread by grifters who try to sell stuff to ignorant conservative audiences (the "ignorant" part is because many practicing christians do not like how commercialized christmas is), which has been thoroughly proven to be bs.
so even if that blacklist wasnt the way it was for general child protection reasons, but exclusively becasue the site owners were so woke, there wouldnt be a reason for them to ban the term christmas.
