I’m calling it... this is going viral. 🤯
Killer stuff...mint Elevators!!
11 months later, nope
👎👎👎
🗿
This didn’t age well😂
This was like the Sopranos finale. lol
Haha, Mike got whacked
His wife just saw the receipt and had enough.
Genius bro!
I could never sit on the ground for that long and still be able to stand back up.
24:15 it's that a Metallica "Fade to Black" promo single
HP Lovecraft, Tomorrow, Hampton Grease Band, XTC, This Heat... guy had great taste, deep taste.
Seriously incredible collection. I can see why you spent so much. Interesting aside regarding the "misprint" of Damned Damned Damned: The mistake was actually a joke by the band. The first (I think) 2000 copies were printed with the photo of Eddie and the Hot Rods.
While I would have liked to buy that collection, NO that is not the collection I would assemble with a time machine.
Nice copypasta
No doubt in both stacks garbage
This is a really unique and interesting collection. I wish there was a way you could make a video showing off all of the records in the collection in an organized fashion. But I also understand that this would take a ton of work...
Spotted a few I’ve picked up. Awesome to see where they came from! Thanks for the videos!
I play my records, I have 2000 records 2 sealed... Must open them to listen to the music
The guy was a radio DJ-he was probably getting free records faster than he could open and listen to them. I’m sure he had many records that he actually listened too as well.
Besides, the fact that there are collections of mint sealed records still out there gives us all hope that we’ll stumble on one some day!
Yeah, that is just stunning. One of the most perfect collections I have ever seen. When you turned around the first copy of Damned Damned Damned, I was like, "Damn (ha!), no Hot Rods. Hold on, there's another copy behind it, there's hope!" Sure enough, Hot Rods.
And what is one of the albums I was most excited to see? "Late Night Movies, All Night Brainstorms" by Doctors Of Madness. Probably a $5-10 record, but one of my all-time favorites. A sign of a deep collection.
totally mind blown!!! and this may be the best collection you've purchased although it was a short vid....badass!
Who said" money can't buy you happiness " because that's a whole lot of happiness right there , killer collection ,
cannot see how that can be bettered well done.
Wow! Damn I’m jealous of those Gun Club records! Unfortunately I don’t live in AZ, but if I did, I would without a doubt, purchase every single Gun Club record in that collection.
Seriously nice collection! I have a lot of those in my collection but there's a lot of rare and interesting stuff in there I'd love to find. Wish I lived closer to Arizona....
Incredible..I hope you can share some more of this collection with us..
I would also have liked to have bought the collection. Only had to rob 2 banks! Great stuff🇩🇪
Without doubt an amazing buy. I did have a thought though about the albums being sealed, I used to keep the shrink on my collection but to my horror the shrink had bonded itself to some of the covers, just hope this hasn't happened to too many of these gems.
Wouldn’t touch that many sealed records , sealed always means warped too me very skeptical about sealed records
XTC / Dukes of Stratosphear heaven right there!! Congrats on the find!
Part 2? Clifhanger!? Is a full vertigo Sabbath run next episode?
Great collection. I grew up in that era (and spent every dime I made on records) and you've got a LOT of stuff in there that I've never even heard of!
ask Stevie Wonder how good the Tonto's Expanding Head Band records are. I'd play them through those Wilson's you showed at the beginning of this video.
I'm only 17 and I'm getting near or have already hit 1000 maybe one day my collection will look like this
Wow. Gets better and better as the collection goes on.
Awesomeness Brother. Thanks for sharing Your passion 😀👍❤🇺🇸🇨🇦♥️🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉💯💯💯💯🎉💯

Promo stamp first run M/M sealed of the 1st 2 Big Star on Ardent.
You are looking at likely the two
best existing copies in the world.
Unreal. Total time machine.
I dig that Love Sculpture record. Dave Edmunds is a great guitarist and a really nice guy to boot.
I've never gotten my mind blown within the first minute of watching YT video
Awesome finds - Buzzcocks , The Cure , Elvis Costello ... 😀
Ok, next time I have a spare $100,000 that's what I'm gonna buy...
Look down the back of the sofa?
I love those Peel Session records.
Great to see the XTC vinyl here.....
Woooooooooah that lost and found "forever lasting plastic words" album at 11:38 is 1. one of my favorite albums every, 2. I have an image of it tattood on my arm, 3. worth some SERIOUS money
You would need 277 days of uninterrupted listening, 24 hours a day, to listen 10k records.
You would need 9 years for two hours a day to listen 10k records.
I love all this Box 71 Grays Sports Almanac stuff you do
Incredible!!
Time Machine Holy Grail for sure.
Sealed M/M of Clash UK, entire promo Steely Dan, Tower Promo Pink Floyd, Promo Hot Rocks, Promo Captain Beyond Lenticular, full run duplicates Elvis Costello including sealed El Mocambo. Buzzcocks, Damned, Beefheart, Eno. Lots of deep psyche. Promo Love, Promo Hendrix, full run Promo Doors.
Pretty speechless. Best collection I have ever seen or heard about.
WOW. What a great collection. I like the punk records especially the Damned.
6:10
$1.27 sticker on Tomrrow dates it to 1st Press 1968, that's what discount prices were then. Maybe on sale 2 or 3 years later but definitely before the 73 oil price shock.
Wow every record collector's dream. 100,000 for 70 boxes of 100 records each... you paid $15 per lp. I'd say you done good if all the boxes have that type of stuff. Some killers i spotted, the love records, some prog and psych gems lurking in there too. Sound and picture cut out at the end of your video.
It was more like 10,000 records. It's sort of a no-brainer buy. There's only so many stores/dealers who could part with that kind of cash and even attempt a decent offer. If I had the collection, I'd sell it piecemeal and would easily get 400k.
@@DorianPaige00 it would take 10 years to flip it for 400k. Hope you got flood/weather insurance lol
I think my heart stopped about 50 times during this video. Oh how I wish I lived nearby Phoenix, AZ and not in Gothenburg, Sweden.... What a collection!!
The two David Sylvian records (Brilliant Trees LP and Bamboo Houses / Bambo Music 12” with Sakamoto). Are those special copies / promos?
Sid Barrett WITH his shrink.
I spotted 10 Mistakes by Gruppo Sportivo from the Netherlands. Acually from my home town Den Haag (The Hague).
Awesome collection. Sealed, on so many. Good seeing.
Planning a trip to Arizona now to arrive "in a few months"
Wow-what an amazing collection!
Flipped right past International Harvester Band. Take that one home! Golden Dawn is stellar. Plus the TVZ and Golden Dawn there, pretty killer.
The stone roses on gold vinyl... I want that so bad..
I can't believe no mention on the Jhon Heartford album at 3:40 looks to be on WB label and not on Flying Fish lable from Chicago.
vid goes black at the end after procol harum 24:14
Dibs on that Hall and Oates!!
Now we are talking!
Dope prog from Finland. Love records is amazing in general
It’s a Chris Spedding btw, not Speeding!
English greats there ive owned but can hardly believe are shrinked or promo: Eno Taking Tiger Mountain, Wire 154, Syd Barrett first 2 solos esp The Madcap Laughs, Hawkwind Doremi Fasol Latido, Teardrop Explodes Kilimanjaro. Any rare Devo is in demand and the Steely Dan collection too.
I'll take the Gun Club, all day everyday.
Holy Crap! That is crazy!
I’m just getting back into vinyl collecting after about 20-25 years of not collecting. So the promo and sealed copies are more valuable over the regular release? Also, I see most videos cover albums , but in my day bc I collected dance music, 12s” were harder to get and the early copies were only promo. Are 12’s as collectible and as valuable?
I used to buy many of my albums from used record store in the 80’s and 90’s from used record store to get a better deal on the promo copies.
Btw. keep up the good work and I happen to run into a new record collectible store last week and what got me interested again. Back in my days, many of these so call original pressed records were super cheap at used record stores. But I’m glad vinyl is making a comeback bc about 20 years ago, you couldn’t give it away bc everything went digital.
Godamn this is insane...
That’s “ True sounds of Liberty “!!! Or we refer to them as TSOL🤙🏽
OMG THE POWER PLANT! I have been wanting that forever...
Mind boggling find.
Sweet baby Jesus! Great haul!
I saw at least two Savage Rose LP's! Probably has them all. Wonder if they'll be affordable...if even put on sale.
Could you put a ten dollar sticker on that copy of Aero-Plain, and I’ll pick it up the next time the Dodgers are in Phoenix?
If not, take it home and play it!
The band is Toiling Midgets; the album is Sea of Unrest
Love it! Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😀 👍 ❤️ 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 ♥️ 🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🔊🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶💯💯
Un Fricken REAL!! This is just insane...
Promo, promo, promo, in the shrink, sealed, promo, promo... we get the idea.. 😏
Daniel thanks ❤.
Congrats on your acquisition. I can’t help but think that somewhere there is a radio station/s that maybe wondering where their records are. 🥺
Likely was a station on the industry full promo list but did not play Rock.
Notice zero Columbia promo Miles or Jazz..
Either the station got duplicates of everything or DJ/MD/PD/GM was at a Jazz, Classical, Talk or News format but still on the promo mailing list.
1000 copies of most promos were pressed in USA but only 200 AOR stations so lots of un played to go around.
What? I live in AZ and I've been mourning the loss of my fav vinyl picking spots from back in the day (Eastside's, Hoodlum's, Rockaway, etc.). I especially miss Eastside's because they got a lot of amazing stuff from estate sales in the area. Anyway, I'm glad to see there's another worthy contender out there. I'll definitely stop by the next time I'm in your zip code.
9:25 - That Mr.Partridge is cool it's Andy tinkering with XTC 👣.
Great to see the laughing Cl owns
Classic Australian underground music
He's missing the Late Great Poppy-LP from Townes 😋.
I'm really proud about my whole Townes-Poppy-collection. Really love it! ❤️
Damned damned damned sealed with eddie and the hotrods on the back ive seen that sell for about 650 pounds
WOW! That's the next few years sorted!!! One thing, you can't really say a record is un-played if it is open. I have records that I have played 10 times and still look mint! Enjoy that fantastic collection....!
You can't tell but I know the story behind the records so I feel confident in the claim.
are your offerings or prices in store or on the web comparative to availability & price on discogs
Ive noticed promo copies tend to sound excellent. Im assuming from strict quality control.
Incredible!!!
When will these records hit the racks in your store? I need to book my flight!!! Ha! What an amazing collection.
In the 3rd bundle there is the great album of Magazine.. One of the best albums ever made! I have it also. You know them?
Is the sealed Soft Machine avaiable anywhere for purchase?
Thanks
Nice.. Funny how you talk about some ”cheap” common elvis costello records but quickly skips Catapilla Changes on vertigo UK promo (probably a 1500$ record!)
Super Nice collection..
"in the shrink.... " so good...
Hey buddy is that Alex Harvey framed is that a swirl or a spaceship label Thank you in advance
Am I th only one that saw him skip by Catapilla without mentioning it?
Nope. Same here pal... It was quick though. I even paused the video to see the beauty
19:30 I saw it. Promo with the hype sticker - easily a $200 record... Just flicked past it. Guess the UK ones are more collectable though.
I want those “Them” records.
You flipped past The Sentinals - Big Surf…that was my friends dad’s band. He was the guitarist. Killer surf record. This collection is absolutely insane. It’s basically torture watching this since I won’t be making to your shop. How I wish. lol
W
How about playing them? You might as well have photographs of each album as having sealed copies. Complete consumerism- nothing more! And that's why Records are so expensive now- well done you guys!
18:01 "Almost all the Ringo stuff was sealed"... as they should. How ever listened to a Ringo Starr album?
CRAZY !!
Wow, awesome finds!
nonchalantly “promo copy of Big Star” … there are people who would kill for that record!
Amazing..does he gots screaming lord such?
chillax max - you guys make me laff, Thanks.
I'm 56 and been a music fan since 1978 but 75% of these I've never heard of.
6:57 You're kidding. I want those Love records.
What a fantastic collection, no wonder you paid out so much, but will easily get your money back!!
