Honestly it depends on the store you’re applying and the role you want, I would suggest reading the description of the job and then applying it to your life :) just be yourself ✌️

Ben Truong hey Ben I recently applied to Apple for a specialist and I went to the hiring event on Wednesday and I was supposed to meet with a lady for my interview and instead I was with two male senior managers and two other applicants the interview lasted probably 20-25 minutes and yesterday I got a email saying that they are moving forward with other applications my mom told me to don’t give up on Apple and try and apply again I reapplied this morning and I’m wondering if it was worth it please write back

This is so much different from Best Buy 😭 Best Buy is just sell, sell, sell, I was miserable. So I quit and have an interview with Apple soon 😄

Not 100% sure, but I don’t think so.

So ... Google's hype about all of the companies that will be interested in someone who earns its IT certificate is ... hype. You completed it, applied to 50 companies during a time when the unemployment rate was at a historic low of ~4% --- and you only were offered a low-paying Apple retail job. (Amazon warehouses pay $15/hour and Costco pays as high as $18 for standing at the door and checking membership cards.)
(An Apple mall-store job is not Apple. An Apple HQ job, where you would have made $60,000 to $80,000 or so at an entry level position, is an entirely different thing. The first is a dead-end retail gig and the second is a salaried career. Google's IT certificate is meant to launch a career.)
