Do YOU want to change this world like I want to? Here are some REAL things that you can do:
1. Spay/neuter your dogs and cats will save 1000s of animals live as YOU will help with the reproduction of these beautiful and often unwanted kittens and puppies.
2. Question the man: Question ALL authority! If they are telling you the truth, then they will be okay with answering your questions. If they are not telling the truth, your questions will unsettle them and you will be one step closer to the truth
3. Love yourself and your neighbor: This is a universal principle that make the world a LOT nicer to live in if we do it more.
Thank you for watching!

Brilliant teaching style, explained things so clearly, thanks
Man if i want to learn songs like that you are probably the best one to teach those things ... you bring the right feeling to it ...thanks soo much
This guys good, very well explained. It'll help me a lot. Thanks.
Beautiful Gretsch, great lesson. Love rockabilly. In my opinion, it's the best music to play solo because of it's rhythm.
Thank you so much my friend! Yes, I love rockabilly.

Again, three chords & truth, thanks for enlightening, love it
3 chords that’s all you need said John Lennon once long ago in 1957
I’d like to just compliment you on your voice man, usually guitar tutorials a lot of them sing out of key - you sir are in key the whole time
Thanks, friend.
Dude, you're awesome, you cover the songs i really wanna play by Elvis, can you show how to do some Carl Perkins or Johnny Cash (my two other favorites
+Karl Beerman Have a couple online already. Just type in on the drop down menu! Woo hoo! Let me know how you are doing! e:)
Super vid. Clear way to see what's going on with out complicating things overly. Love that slapback.
thank you good clear teaching.
cheers you have a good clear way of teaching hopefully I'll be rocking some Elvis soon
I’m looking at the volume and tone knobs in the pick guard, I like that simplicity.
Crystal clear , many thks
great sounding guitar
Just subscribed :) big thanks from Beijing :)
That was cool mahn
Man that barre C shape is tough. My brain does not want my fingers to make that shape. I’ve never had to use that before. Typically I use the A shape C barre on the third fret for my other voicings.
Thanks so much for share you experience
You are awesome.
Awesome! You really break it down very easy. Any other site you recommend?
Wow,your lesson,MASTERPIECE..Even works for Johnny Cash material.Muting with thumb, alternating .I must get one of them rigs.Your set up top shelf.
Thank you so much my friend.
Hey hey ! I just learned some easy songs on my Guitar and I was just wondering if you need an E-Guitar or if I can play this on my acoustic guitar ? But It is so Cool you played this (even if it was 10 years ago) bc Ima huge Elvis fan and I want to play it for my Mum cuz she‘s is a Huge Elvis fan aswell … hope I can learn it till her B-Day … 💕ly💕
You can play it on the acoustic. You’re the artist, put your own spin on songs. That’s part of the fun!
U ROCK
I love your direct style and approach, it cuts out a lot of the BS that you get in guitar mags and various DVD's and gets right to the heart of what's fun about playing the guitar and music, all whilst still being thorough. Is that what you intended, did you sit and think about the best way to teach or are you just naturally good at teaching?
you're lesson's are great and i can really play these songs now that you have explained for simple, and i have a request if you could do a video of how to play blue moon of kentucky by Elvis because all the other videos on the net are rubbish.
thanks
Great lesson!
+78recordrepair Thank you 78! e:)
Elvis was VERY influenced by Western Swing at this time in his life. He then put the blues back into the songs that used the songs but not the blues in them. But on this first record, it's just bright and happy, but not ever twangy. Scotty took care of that.
great very good teacher!!
Thank you Austin. I appreciate your kind comment. Stay in touch and let me know how you are doing. Rock on!
e:)
Nicely explained . Slow enough that anyone can follow. Keep up the good work.
ln2play Glad to hear my friend. Please, stay in touch! e:)
+yourguitarsage Honestly man, you are indeed a guitar sage!, I thank you so much for your effort, I've been coming back and I've almost nailed the song so thank you! Peace brutha :)
+Rebel Soscha thank you Rebel! You are so welcome!
nice
Rock on
Ok dude he's just giving a good lesson. We're not all guitar nerds.
its insane to think this was recorded 9 years ago
great lessons.....what kind of guitar is that
How many guitars do you have? You play an awesome guitar on each diffrent lesson :)
Dear Erich, I'm pretty new at playing electric guitar, can you tell me what's the name of that system where you can record what you're playing, and after can be used as backtrack? Is it some option in multi effect you have or a pedal or something else?
Thank you! :)
Yes, I use a TC Electronic Ditto. Affordable and super fun!
Y’all know if there’s a pedal that could be used to help replicate slapback echo and compression?
great lesson what guitar is that its beautiful ?
Thank you my friend. It’s a Gretsch Electromatic.
love your stuff but you mentioned a looper. How do I get one and how much are they?
which Guitar are you using? it's awesomee
It's a Gretsch!
like the way you play elvis presley songs can you tell me the chords to i beg of you by elvispresley he done it in the 50s i hope you can help me.
Great acoustic lesson but if you are trying to teach any of Scotty's licks they are wrong. Scotty works off an open E chord and after the initial solo he goes to a D7 on the 5th fret. I love this video so don't take me wrong, but you might want to take another look at the sit down section of the '68 TV Special.........thanks
Could you do a tutorial of Hurt by Johnny Cash? That song is so inspirational :)
Hey thought I'd let you know that Hurt is a cover... Johnny cash covered the nine inch nails song.... He did it so well that the song became his
@@brusinijoseph thank you lol. I was a young naive girl 9 years ago 😂
Thank you my friend! Yes. yourguitarsage(dot)com and unstoppableguitarsystem(dot)com
can you make a tutorial for Flightles Bird American Mouth?
Great lesson! what guitar is this? A Gretsch? what? :D
Gretsch.
I WANNA LEARN ELVIS'S ALL MUSICS ON GUITAR PLEASE SHOW US .. :)
Your welcome
:)
Can you substitute D major for D 7 sounds better for me
Much...
It's supposed to be a d7
@@tysonrinker5958 Correct, Scotty Moore used D7, Elvis used D major...created that sound
Written by Arthur 'Big Boy' Crudup in the '40s. Credit where credit is due.
can you show us how to play DON'T BE CRUEL in the style That Scotty M oore does it please ty RJ
I will put it on the list. I think I have a beginners tut for this.
Ya i just like to leatn the intro that Scotty does on Elvis song n u sound very good with the intro u did i want to learn how to tune my guitar that way n play it
Cool song. Thanks for the lesson. And you are so cute!
Thank you!
Question......what kind of Ice Cream you like to eat ? Strawberry ?
this seems all wrong to me. very rudimentary.
Nobody did it like Elvis Presley-Nobody......he was the Best, along with Jerry Lee Lewis,Roy Orbison, and others to......
👍
Where is Scotty Moore?
D7 not D
Hey wise guy, why don't you google your spam site?
That´s Allright Mama, by Arthur Crudup. Just to keep that straight.
Yes but this is the version elvis played dummy
If you knew Crudup’s original, you would realize that it is a different song....Crudup gets credit on Elvis’ 45, just watch a video of Elvis playing this song, and you know Andreas is playing it exactly right. Not that easy to get that muted rhythm and alternating base in perfect time.
@Davis Edison if i did a cover of gnrs versión of knocking on heavens door, Id credit gnr not Bob Dylan.
That's not how the lead rhythm goes
It's A - D7 - E7.
Think that lead riff is A major 1st inversion. Your example doesn't sound quite right. iMHO.
I gotta admit that song is really awesome, but c'mon... It's just too easy. There are basically 6 chords and the only harder part is to arpeggiate the first two strings of each chord during the verse, I believe. Just listen to it a bit, this way you'll get two birds in one shot - learn the song AND develop your hearing.
Why do i not hear the rythm in a song ? not just this one, any song ! yet i can dance above average, but i dance to the tune. I hear the tune of a song. ???? Why...A friend of mine is a great rythm guitarist but cant dance for shit. being able to dance is the basics of being able to follow music right ? Why can i dance to almost a professional level but cant follow a rythm and find guitar so difficult, yet my friend seems to be almost useless at moving one's body but yet excels at playing a rythm ?
You play A A7 D E E7 and A again this tutorial is wrong... M
Lol of course
There you go.
He didn't even play
the 7s. Ha ha.
stoned
sounds more like johnny cash ( get rhythm) than Elvis / scotty Moore that's allright... perhaps mystery train
:)
RIP Scotty Moore his contribution went un recognised for so long.
what chords dyou play it in ??
Sean Tivenan, I agree, the beat isn't right for this song. It sounds more like Mystery Train to me as well.
Really those are the chords but that's not how you play it
bof
Constructive critisism here, get to playing the song even before you talk. Very frustrating when ppl talk crap for 5_20 mins then only to find their rendition which is very often very poxy.... harsh words but idc
I appreciate the candor 👊🏻🙏
Pessimo video.
Non si vedono gli accordi.
Thx guy,but actually ,your vocal isn't good)
horrible nothing like the song
