It seems to be puzzeled together. Front is like P1 back like and mix between the Chiron and the centurio and the sides dont really appeal to me. but i guess every taste is different

that's because it has no starter! plot twist!!! when I heard it start it blew my mind noting it had no starter. it sounds like no other engine. ever

@@DJZ3ROKONTROL what do you mean it has no starter? as far as i know one of the electric motors is used to get the engines to "start-rpm" and that happenes nearly instandly but you can actually hear the motor cranking the engine up if its quiet

Yep I dont think the ICE ever actually transmited power to the ground during that whole video. Quite sure at that speed only the Electric Motors are doing the propulation.
Even at idle the ICE is going to transmit power, the "torque converter" just isn't locked up yet. Hell, the car isn't going fast enough for it to lock up until ~30mph depending on the idle speed of the engine.

the large silver pipe is only a heat outlet for the electric motor fans. The combustion engine exhaust is hard to notice, and flared to match the rear splitter
True! The exhaust 'slides' are in the rear splitter and are made by Akrapovic!
fish-tail shaped exhaust provides uniqe sound and prevent backflow of the exhaust gas.

He basically designed a Koenigsegg and a RIMAC Concept One in one car. The issue is he should have put two of the motors on the front wheels VS making it all the time rear wheel drive. Mate RIMAC team is working with him on his power systems as he gets closer to releasing the Regera to the public. The car loses a lot at the beginning from what I see trying to keep the power to the ground. But the issue with that could be due the the design of his single gear gearbox. He needs a lot of electrical torque at the beginning to allow him to favor higher gearing ratios.

No, the RIMAC concept car is made to be mainly a track car, while the Regera is more focused on being a fast luxorious road car.

No, im just telling you that Koenigsegg has stated themselves that the Regera is not designed as a track car that can be driven on the road, but rather the other way around, focusing on comfort and driveability on roads rather than maximum grip, acceleration and so on (not saying that it won't be a fast car).

Interesting sound at the start if that is the Electric motors. IIRC Yasa Axial Flux motors should be quiet because it is flatter plates and not much spinning length. Yet that was a substantial winding sound.

2:30 something weird happens to the paint, is that to do with the settings on the camera?
That's probably a cloud moving near the sun and causing significant lighting shifts and the camera trying to compensate.

After closer inspection it looks like it's just that the reflection of light on its body changes as you go closer.
