The US 369th Infantry Regiment achieved great fame during the Great War, earning themselves the name "Harlem Hellfighters". This is their story.

Your very first meeting with the Band, the Alvin York song ;) and the "Stigler-Brown incident" with "No bullets fly" made you a hero of the "Listen to a Song and talk what you think" Scene! For good reasons! The break even point was, when you decided to walk "all the way", the Song, the Background, and a live gig. Cheers!

Glad to see you back with the boys. Another banger as are all the tracks on The war to end all wars. As mentioned in another comment you should give Pasedena 1994 a listen. Would look up what it's about first will help you enjoy. Oh and do not see 1916 on the list. If you have already heard it, then I apologise. Motorhead track covered by Sabaton and taken to another level. Saw them perform live back in April in Glasgow, Scotland. Amazing track that makes you think and feel the emotional content of the song. Brings a tear to the eye. Multiple history from Indi and the boys too. All the best from across the pond. Oh nearly forgot more Powerwolf 🙏 and Battle Beast please please. Know you done a few Powerwolf but best ones still out there. As for Battle Beast, you will not be disappointed awsome band with awsome female vocals. 👌

Loved the video, I recently started watching back through the Sabaton reactions and noticed you missed one of their carolus rex songs 1648 that's great. The Swedish and English versions of the song both show the two different perspectives, the English version being the Czech perspective and the Swedish version being that of the Swedes. Would love to see you check it out!

@@TouchyReactions If you wanna hear the Swedish version and understand the lyrics I recommend reacting to a channel called Piscator who makes translated lyric videos for the Swedish songs so you can read the English translation.
Many others I’ve suggested doing this format for all of that album and quite a few channel have indeed done that. Just a Suggestion as i think both the English and Swedish versions are worth hearing.

Here is the Swedish version translated from another channel not from Piscator but most of the Swedish songs on the Carolus Rex album Piscator have made translation videos for.

Normally I would suggest doing this for all the songs on the Carolus Rex album I even think I might have but it’s not a huge deal I guess since you’ve seen most of them by now even if you only saw the English versions.

I've loved it and I've missed these deep dives very much. Segregation was a disgrace, but I'm surprised the Indy didn't make a note that the French had their own colonial troops sent to the meat grinder as cannon fodder and the consequence of that was that hundreds of thousands of young Africans and Southeast Asians went to France for the first time and were shocked by how the French lived compared to back home. Those survivors who explained what they had seen, became very vocal about the blatant injustice and many started to plant the seeds of revolt that will flourish 30 years later when colonial empires crumbled (many among senior Vietcong leadership were veterans from the trenches of WW1). After this I hope to see a deep dive of "the First Soldier" because I don't know of anyone more epic ever than Alber Severin Roche (just the number of prisoners is mind boggling). Great reaction as always and I want to congratulate Touchy for commenting on the importance of education to prevent the return of the disgusting mentality of that "not so long ago" past.

If I may be so bold over a year ago on one of your last sabaton reactions I asked if you would be interested in reacting to the Sabaton history videos for the songs in the new albums that had t gotten their History videos out yet. Idk if you remember this but I brought up the songs like Stormtrooper and Dreadnought among a few others that you said you could react to their history videos in the future when they are released but you never did. I wonder if you might be interested in reacting to their sabaton history videos now that they are out if you are hopefully still interested in that.
