A few years ago, my mom and I starting talking to the worker that was manning the childhood home. She told us that Carl would often come to the park and walk around striking up conversations with people and no one had any idea they were talking to Dolly’s husband!
I will die on this hill. Dollywood is the BEST theme park in the country. Clean, affordable, great food, rides are in great shape, customer service is excellent,
Etc. Places like Disney can take notes. You know, like actually being affordable for most
Families.
I agree and it’s sister park Silver Dollar City it’s different more old fashioned and not as many coasters but some great experiences even more craft places and a cave and the Saloon show it’s all awesome too Dollywood has the better train though.

Dreamland Forest was a children's area at Dollywood which featured a giant interactive tree house where you could interact with water features and shoot foam balls... It replaced to make way for the Owen's Farm area and the Barnstormer ride after only being open for a few years...
I love Dollywood big big... So fun to see Jen enjoy it for the first time..!

Jenn looks do TOTALLY COOL 😎 with her black bear ears n awesome sunglasses.. i KNOW you bought s Dolly Funco for your collection n I KNEW you wouldn't leave that souvenir shop without those bear ears cuz of how much you LOVE black bears!!! The Dolly clothes n shoes m jewelry museum was SUPERB, n the magnetic Dolly paper dolls with all the accessories to choose from was THE MOST ULTIMATE item EVER!!! I had magnetic Twiggy paper dolls with tons of accessories as a kid n we grew up with paper dolls n to me they are a lost art toy they should bring back for kids today!!! We learned how to coordinate clothes n accessories as youngsters with our paper dolls n Barbies,!!! From what I see today, they need to bring both toys back cuz these youngsters can't dress or coordinate clothes n accessories in any way!!! Jenns riding a bear!!! I KNOW she is in heaven now!!!

Cool seeing Jenn with you at Dollywood. I was there on my birthday, June 2nd, to see this new museum. The last room is cool. When Jolene played everyone in the room sang along. It was so cool that it gave me goosebumps. Despite it raining off and on most of the day I had a great time. I left Dollywood and went to The Island for the first time and rode the Giant Wheel. It was cool. Another great vlog with J and J.

There is currently an awesome one at Walmart, my partner has it... It comes up to size like 4xl and it only costs $10... He gets compliments on it all the time...
@@LaughingWarriorBrigade it’s always best to shop local stores! Disney/universal gear in Walmart around Orlando sells their stuff so much cheaper ( obviously) just some people don’t think it right off the top of their head.
@@Just-Zac look, it's great to shop local stores but let's be fair... Most people do not have money to buy absolutely everything in local stores... This is not a case of "if my partner did not buy the $10 Dolly shirt at Walmart he would have been forced to buy a more expensive item from a local place"... It's a case of "if he didn't get that $10 Dolly shirt from Walmart he just wouldn't get to own one" because we can't afford it... Dolly Parton's company clearly approved that for distribution to Walmart so clearly it is her company's contention that it is OK to buy her merchandise there... I somehow really doubt Dolly herself would want a fan to go without her merch because they couldn't afford the best examples of merch sold by local stores... I think that the woman who gave away 400,000,000 books probably understands that some of her fans are poor, maybe that is even why the company chose to distribute through Walmart...
No other performer/ human is as loved as Dolly . But no one can say anything bad about her..not one word
So glad to see the museum built in her honor and that the crowds continue to line up just to get in ..
I am a huge country fan and have always loved her and OF course Kenny with her was amazing everytime I seen them..

I was scrolling through CZcams the other day and came upon an episode of Captain Kangaroo and Dolly was his guest that day. I watched the whole episode! Very nostalgic for me. I’ve been planning a trip to go to TN sometime this year and am looking forward to going there. It’s definitely on my list. It’s been 15 years since I’ve been, so it’s time.
