Renault KARDIAN esprit Alpine

You may not have known it, but two years ago, Renault offered a sports variant of the Dacia Sandero under its label for the needs of the South American market. Badged Renault-Sport, it developed a comfortable trifle of 150 hp via a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder fueled with ethanol, in order to maintain affordable prices on a continent still fond of inexpensive GTi. At the time, the French company crossed swords with a certain Fiat Argo HGT which developed 139 hp. If this were to be the case, it would probably not go for the 185 hp of the Abarth Pulse, Renault leaving the Alpine range to develop real sports cars, since the disappearance of the Renault Sport department. At best, we can hope for the arrival of the 145 hp full-hybrid unit aboard this hypothetical Kardian Esprit Alpine, in addition to the current and only 125 hp unit.
