So confusing with all the different models and different filters. The 2 filter system is very difficult to put back together and impossible to clean completely because the inner mesh is too fine and is swollen with fibers. Most videos only apply to the single filter type. Even in this one she takes the filter off as a single unit, then there is a cut to the 2 parts. It make it look easy to clean but the inner filter is virtually impossible to clean. I guess I have to buy totally new replacements. Also some models require you to unscrew the 3rd remaining part but it's not at all clear.

What happen if my broke
Hi, does the professional model need a filter scrubber? I called and asked for one a I thought I needed it watching a video but it must be for not the professional model as the filter cleaner does not fit around the filter.

I actually called Dyson asking the same thing. I purchased the professional edition dryer. The agent told me that they do not recommend using the filter brush. The filters on the newer models are not made to be cleaned with a brush . She told me that it can actually damage the filter.
Is it hd04 model?
I'm guessing this was HD04, but I have the HD02 with the new wide filter for thre HD04 and the cleaning routine is the same

Useless piece of equipment ! Doesn’t work even after you clean it a million times. Even more useless is the customer service who is completely unhelpful even though my device is under warranty
Take it to your local dyson service center if possible. A lot better than calling them.
I did mine when it broke and they upgraded me to a newer professional model (HD11) under warranty
