The Dyson Supersonic Nural has a lot to like about it. First, it has scalp mode that puts a limit to your hair and scalp temperature to less than 150F. This is essential for not burning your hair and keeping your scalp in top condition. It also remembers the fan speed in each of your attachments and will turn into standby low fan speed mode when you set it down.
Understandably, a premium product as the brand is known for.

Can smart technology be turned off and on when attachment is used? (Ex turn off auto heat adjustment or thrn it on when using a defuser)
Got myself an answer, fyi: scalp protect mode only works with two attachments: gentle air attachment and styling concentrator BUT does not work for diffuser, wide-tooth comb and flyaway attachment which sucks for me as I mostly use diffuser. Perhaps not worth additional $150 bucks.
What do you use to record heat levels?
I'm not sure if the scalp protection mode is really necessary for people who always use the lowest temperature setting.
If the lowest setting is use, it is not necessary unless your bring the hair dryer so close you can feel your scalp getting very hot.
Will you get tinittus with this or is it not that loud?
I'm not sure. High speed motors has a higher pitched sound but all I can say is that it doesn't cause problems for me.
I believe the Dyson hair dryers are considered some of the quietest overall though they seem to produce more of a high pitched noise which might be annoying. Tinnitus should be unlikely.

For the poor build quality Dyson likes to call ok I just find this so gimmicky.
Build quality is actually excellent. It produces a huge volume of air also.

I admit, the lint cover is a bit flimsy. Thanks for your reference to GHD brand, I've never heard of them but I suppose Nural is more for tech geeks that likes high speed brushless motors.
