The first time I saw Drew race was at the Brooks PR Meet in Seattle when he beat Grant Fisher. Everyone expected Fisher to win, but I was cheering for Drew because Fisher had won the 2-mile the year before. Drew held off Fisher down the back straight and around the final turn, and then out kicked him to the Iine. I've been a fan ever since, even though I really thought he should have gone the college route like Fisher, Mantz, and other guys in that race. It's good to see him back and healthy again.
Say what you will about the switch of coaches and how it went down but you can really tell it‘s helped the team physically and mentally
So god damn proud of how far Joey has come.
Mom/Coach will be proud of Drew!!!! Back to Glory!
