and his model is not unique, other illithids have it too, and ALL of them have glowing eyes, even newborns, so they just made player illithid look like shit
@zyncra3965 Astarion's moral alignment (and Lae'zel's) depends on your character's actions. Both Astarion and Lae'zel will approve of you helping an orphaned child at the start of act 3 if you've been doing morally good things in your playthrough. Basically, Astarion isn't comfortable with being a hero after 200 years of Cazador making him do bad things, but if you keep playing the hero he will eventually come around and be okay with helping people.
Think they should done this ending differently, if you're going illithid bad ending route wouldn't it make more sense for the illithid MC to force ceramophisis on the companions being in control of the protection.
I somehow cannot get this ending. It is literally just skipping the cutscene with rhe netherbrain in pain and going straight to i asked it to destroy itself
Even after becoming the absolute, the Emperor still looks 10 times cooler than you do.
He just has that drip. You can steal it off his body after the celebrations.

Emperor compared to PC is like handsome Squidward compared to regular one.
"We could do it, you know? We can rule the world..."
*Chooses to rule the world*
"Joking! I was JOKING!!"
It may be a glitch, but I like to think Astarion saying "We can rule together." is the Absolute trying to trick you
I don't think it is when I finish the vampire lord quest line that he wants to do that; probably not the way he was thinking.
I did this with regular Astarion in my party and he said nothing about ruling the world
@@KanjsCat Agreed. I think Astarion lusts for power in general. He probably wasn't expecting to become a puppet when you took control though.
Astarion is through and through evil, I'm pretty sure he just means that lol

Astarion: We can rule the world
Astarion 1 second later: what are you doing?!
I guess he realized there will be no "we" part
Astorian: "We could rule the world~"
MC: "We? Whos ‘we' you speaking french?"
Astarion: We could rule the world
Illithid tav: what do you mean “we”

Not necessarily. Mind Flayers like keeping their minions around in the lore. They actually do get lonely without normal people to control and be with.
Now this game feels more like a medieval mass effect more than dragon age ever did. And boy, would I love to give it a try.
You did not play it and just watched one of the endings. Whats wrong with you?
The line from Astarion is a bug, as he says it regartles of spawn or not.
Cool they added the mind flayer SFX to the line.
YOU WHERE THE CHOOSEN ONE!
It was said you would destroy the Illithid, not join them!
"And now _I'm_ the one doing the choosing."
I somehow cannot get this ending. It is literally just skipping the cutscene with rhe netherbrain in pain and going straight to i asked it to destroy itself
Glad they fixed Evil Astarion and Minthara in the evil ending with patch 6,now you no longer enslave them, but they look at you and smiles
One of the Illithid eyes was a bit murky at the end. Is that a Hag Eye? Or something else.
Volo eye
@@KanjsCat now I kinda want to get both the Hag’s Eye & Volo’s eye.
@@purpledevilr7463 I don't know if it's possible since they are place at the same eye
@@KanjsCat no, you can choose which eye the Hag takes. Volo’s eye is always the right eye though.
You can only have one fake eye. Volo or the hag will stop if they notice you already have a fake eye
Sad there's no way to do the world domination thing without reverting to mind controlling your allies...
Does this skip the final fights altogether?
no
