Chocolate Yogurt Muffins have a wonderfully soft and moist texture with a delicious chocolate flavor. The chocolate flavor comes from unsweetened cocoa powder, and you can use either natural unsweetened or Dutch processed. I also like to add some chocolate chips which makes for a more complex chocolate flavor. You can even add a little instant coffee or espresso powder if you want a mocha flavor.

How do you stay so slim and trim making these delicious recipes?! I made the Basque cheesecake a couple weeks ago, and, oh my, it was soooo creamy, rich and good! This recipe looks great and I think I will do it this weekend! Thanks for all the super recipes!
Today I baked these muffins in ramekins. I only made half-portion and used 4 ramekins with 4-inch diameter. I oiled each ramekin and added walnut pieces half way as I filled each ramekin. And then dropped several choc. chips on the surface before popping them into the toaster oven. Baked for 28 mins. Came out perfect. Thank you Stephanie for this easy to make muffin recipe. 🙏 I will use this recipe again and be creative with the filling. Peanut butter and jam perhaps. I give this a ★★★★★.

When I saw this I went immediately to make it. What I love is that it’s a bit healthier than regular cupcakes, definitely easier to make, and the outcome was really delicious. I used a mixture of chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Soooo good!
Can't tell you how many times I've made this recipe, my kids love it, both of them, so it is a staple. They say they taste like brownies. You could add icing and they could double as cupcakes they are so good. Muffins freeze so well, mini ones too, that I normally make a double batch. I make my own yoghurt in the instant pot so I feel better baking these and it makes them so moist. Thanks for this fabulous recipe!

These are soooo good! I've made them 3 times this past month. On about half of the muffins, I layer in a small dollop of peanut butter before baking. Yum!

The muffins looked glorious. The signature of Hershey's chocochips I got recently from the U.S that garnished the muffins was the ultimate! Using Greek yoghurt was better than using buttermilk. Thank you!

Delicious, Stephanie! I have used and tweaked your basic starch-fat-protein-liquid ratio for this yogurt-based quick-cake…I can’t tell you how many ways, it’s just brilliant! And it’s a nice thing about learning to bake with a scale rather than measuring cups, you start to get a very good sense of how things will turn out and you can tweak things and experiment! I almost entered a blueberry pecan variation of your yogurt cake, with a maple crust, in the Minnesota state fair this year, but I still need to perfect the maple crust. Would probably be easier to achieve what I’m going for with sugar, but the maple flavor with blueberries and pecans is so…pancakes…in a really good way😂🥞❤
