How Bardock vs Frieza was made 😂

Using a Camera Mod, I recorded the Dramatic Finish between Bardock and Frieza...
The "behind the scenes" of Bardock seeing the events of the future and past while he is posing in different ways makes this really goofy.
Also, the animation of him throwing the ki-blast to Frieza is unrivaled.
In general, the result is hilarious !

Goes to show how important camera work is when it makes animations look way more intense

Not just camera work. It also shows how 3D animation is really hard to make the characters look “dynamically” cool hence why they had to distort the body and facial features in some scenes. Perfect example is bardock’s smile. Not distorting the mouth to a side angle would have looked very weird. Just think the CGI from RoF where there were no 2D corrections and the body was distorted all over the place because of the complex movements the characters had to go through. Then in DBS Super Hero, a lot of 3D shots were drawn over by 2D animators. Imagine designing Goku’s hair in 3D from multiple angles. In 2D you can just transform the hair not matter the camera angle. In 3D, i can’t even imagine how I would structure the hair to the point that it looks good from any angle.

Fun fact: Barock's power level was deemed to be around 10,000 when he died. This means if he had gone Super Saiyan, which is a 50 X multiplier, his power level would have been around 500,000. Frieza in his first form without powering up is around 530,000. In short, first form Frieza would still cook Super Saiyan Bardock.
