Very nice job! You made it look easy. This was my first serious DIY car repair and I struggled in several places, but it is done! Thanks…you gave me the confidence to tackle it myself!
Nice good job!!
Thanks for sharing. I'm sharing this with my students.

Bro seriously thank you so much!
Welcome!! Always here to help
Your video was very helpful and straightforward!! I only had one question at the end what do you mean by letting the air out? And does that come before or after I add the antifreeze?
After u put the antifreeze just let the car run it will burp it self and then let the car cool off and u can add more coolant nothing big deal on this Toyota there will be air in the system but it will come out just need to let it run for a bit and the recheck coolant level
Have a 1998 Avalon got a radiator out of a 2001 Avalon fits. Now is over heating. There is a sensor on bottom of 2001 radiator does it need to be hooked up and where do I hook it up
Great video! Did your replacement radiator have a one-inch depth or 5/8-inch depth? Also, how many gallons of antifreeze/coolant will I need? Thanks.
daddyman45 not sure about the depth but I usually call up my good parts store give them the vin they give me correct part always u will need 2 gallons also change thermostat while u at it. @@RBTheMechanic the annoying part is it started leaking after fixing my brother's car coolant issue
@@jonlejcar5306 what did you fix... did u check where it’s leaking from
@@RBTheMechanic on his was water pump. Immediately after fixing his car I moved my car and noticed it leaking. It is seeping thriugh in the exact same spot on the top of the radiator as you said in the video
@@jonlejcar5306 oh ok yeah it’s got to go that means it’s old radiator!
Thank buddy
thanks i changed mine today
Nice good job
Great video-Thanks! I just got my 2k Avalon radiator replaced with the lower priced one (196k miles). It road very smooth before the radiator broke and now if does not feel so smooth. It feels rough riding. Does the computer need to sense the change?
No it shouldn’t have effect on the ride of the car
Somebody blew a head gasket…😔
Have a 1998 Avalon got a radiator from 2001 over heating 2001 has a sensor on bottom does it need hooked up and where do I hook it up
Ur interchanging the radiator so if ur original don’t have it then u don’t need to plug it in just there for blocking the hole
How much does a job like this will it cost on this exact car, I have the exact same year and make, model?!
What if it’s leaking radiator fluid by the serpentine belt after a pressure test?
It maybe or most likely the water pump
What is the best size for a 2004 Toyota Avalon xls

I have 2004 Toyota Avalon, im trying to replace the radiator but there's two types of radiators , how can I know which one gits my car.
The thickness u have to take it out and measure it
@@RBTheMechanic the one in the car now is DENSO 2210512 ( with tow package). I did my research on this one and it says "1 core thickness. Is that means any 1 inch will fit or has to be with tow package? Thanks
@@OmarGonzalis I’m not sure please ask parts department so u don’t buy wrong radiator
