I'm not sure how many people outside of the fan base are even aware of it, but Twenty One Pilots' album rollout for Trench will forever be the best. They very quietly created an entire world for their fans to discover, and very strategically led them down the path of this story. Then the album, which is amazing, was about the story that the fans had spent months figuring out and being a part of. And then the live shows were fucking awesome too! Truly an incredible experience!

im not sure if "of all time" is a great title, all these albums are great, but they are all hip hop/rnb from the past 10 years. Rollouts are definitely more special with social media. Other genres also have great rollouts involved.
@@handinator of course, i agree TLOP is probably the best album rollout ever but only because donda 2 hasn’t been “rolled out”. maybe it’s because i missed TLOP era and am only learning about this in hindsight but something about a manic kanye staging an album release on 2/22/22 just out of the blue and having such an iconic stage design/idea is incredible to me. everything from the heartbeat cam & the backstage cameras recording carti and all the other artists was insane to me. keep up the good work i can’t wait to see more of it vids :3
