For those who did not see the "Export" option, the problem is the language. It only works with English and Country or region set to United States. It didn't work for me in Spanish until I made those changes.

No. The Word to PowerPoint feature does not use tables - at least as of now (jan 2024).
You will need to copy paste.

I am getting the error "We are having difficulty creating your presentation right now. Please wait a moment and try again" I have tried multiple time in previous couple of days but no success. Even tried with other browsers

This is amazing but I can't find it on my Word in Browser - is it out yet?
Save Word file on OneDrive. Open in browser. File - Export - PPT. It is there since at least a year.

I love your training, so apologies to bug you, but not sure who else to ask. I have a screenshot showing that I am in the browser etc, but no luck exporting it. Is the file a normal .docx format?

It does not put every paragraph into slides.
The exact process is not under our control.
To increase the accuracy of the output, use Heading styles to format the document.

please notice that you have to go one drive WEB vision, not work in your one drive local folder either...

It may be disabled by IT. It is not available in some countries as this is still a Preview feature.
