I know you hear me say I'm excited alot and that's because I truly am and at the end of the day if we aren't moving might as well make this house as amazing as we possible can! Starting with a decent addition that will serve as additional entertainment space, office, and laundry space. I truly hope that this project brings you so much motivation, too, since we do plan to tackle a majority on our own I hope to show it's possible to do somethinglike this on a reasonable budget! ❤️

I was forced to retire due to injury on my job at the age of 46. I now home school my granddaughter. I use to shadow my uncles both trades men. One was a carpenter the other was a painter. I have a collection of tools that I purchased for diys. My daughter calls me bob the builder and my granddaughter loves to do projects with me safely and limited for her. I love watching your videos and your channel because I find you and your videos interesting and very relatable. Thank you

I cannot remember if you had already bought the house and moved in or if you just signed on the house but had not moved in, I believe it was when I started watching I started watching because I love that you were realistic about budget friendly things. you were like me didn’t have a lot, but you made do with what you had. I think that is the best level of budget friendly that you can actually give people because it’s truly not having anything and making it work with not having Anything Because a lot of people are in that kind of financial situation especially when starting out. I continue to watch you because you’ve stayed true to that mentality and you’re not wasteful you’re very creative and relatable. The camaraderie between you and your husband reminds me of me and my husband. I love that you’re not just changing things to spend tons of money you’re changing things to make your home. I started watching you before you moved, and the reason I started watching you was because of your faith and trust in the Lord! It was so inspiring and helped me with my faith. I also watch because like somebody else said your personality is just awesome. You’re so fun and so humble. I do love when you do makeovers and I think that may have been one of the first videos, I watched of you you were living in the mobile home, and also you did your bathroom and you were caulking everything and I was like oh I never thought of doing that. What a great idea to caulk everything but yeah your personality is what really keeps me here your faith as well and I love your makeovers. You’re not afraid to try anything. Yes, I love your diy's, but the main part is YOU (love, love your easy-going yet hard-working personality... not overly serious, but you're very focused at same time). I love how you protect/love your family)! It's neat that you (& your husband) learn new things and have the courage to take risk on big projects. So much wisdom at such young age! I think one of the first videos I saw was when you painted faux-granite countertop on your kitchen island (when your channel was BudgetFam). I just thought of a cool idea… what if you move the fence that divides the back yard and the car port on the out side of the car port. So it provides more privacy when you’re working and you could access from the back yard. You could add wheels and a hinge so you can swing it open if you need to put something big in there.

I was scrollin videos , because my kids found me a table at somebody curb on garbage day. They thpught with a little work, it i could ba one i could roll my wheelchairs under. It had gum and marker and failing finish. I wanted to try to refinish it and saw you doing it on on a table and stopped to watch and just loved how honestly you expressed your process and the difficulties on a similar mess. I just lobed it that you made it look accessible but that you had to put wotk in. And so i started sanding it when i felt well enough to. Well its been 2 years, but it's completely sanded and striped now, and i now have aporch to work on, so im going to bleach it as soon as the weather clears up for a few days. Every tiny bit i finished makes me feel so accomplished and proud.Thank you for doing what you do in such a genuine and inspiring way. It poked me into trying something new and thinking just maybe i could, too

You definitely need a dehumidifier out there!! We had a mold issue & had to replace all our carpet!! Expensive lesson. We now have a whole house dehumidifier.

Before you started working on your family's 2nd home where you painted one wall that dark green. You demo'ed and redid the kitchen if i remember correctly.
