How to Spoof Location on iPhone (2 Easy Ways Including Free One)

- Hey guys, this video will show you how to spoof location on any iPhone with the help of two different methods including a free one for Mac users. You won’t be directly installing any harmful app on your iPhone or jailbreak your iOS device.
There are different reasons why someone would want to spoof their location on iPhone. Some would do it to hide their actual whereabouts from their friends, family or even from their employers. Some would like to do that just for a little fun. But the thing is that there is absolutely no official way to spoof location on iOS. There are some shady apps on the App store, but they don’t work. There are also some fake CZcams videos showing how to fake location on iPhone by installing injectors or unknown apps. These apps might steal your personal/confidential information or data from your iPhone, so please use caution before installing them on your iOS device. So, in this video guide I’ll demonstrate two easy & safe ways to spoof GPS location on iPhone.
Method No. 1: In the first method, I will use a computer tool (bit.ly/fake-location-ios) to modify my location on iPhone. It works on both on Windows and Mac. You can use it to spoof both your one time and real-time/live location on iPhone. This easy-to-follow method is completely safe because you won’t be installing any harmful app directly on your iPhone. This will work for all the apps on iPhone like Snap Map on Snapchat, Tinder, Life360, WhatsApp, Find my Friends and so on.
Method No. 2: In the second method, I will be using the Xcode app which is exclusively available for the Mac users. You can download it for free from the Mac store. I’ll use this Xcode app to build an app that can spoof or fake location on any iOS device. I know it sounds bit complicated, but it is not. I will demonstrate each step involved in the process which will make it easier for you.

Having trouble using this on MacBook. I tried doing it on another laptop and it worked fine. It says that network is disconnected, which it is not. I am not on vpn and I am directly connected to the internet.

Why does this message appear when I try it: Failed to prepare device for development .This operation can fail if the version of the OS on the device is incompatible with the installed version of Xcode. You may also need to restart your mac and device in order to correctly detect compatibility.

When you say you can’t spoof real time location. Do you mean the time of the day?
Real time means live location. Some apps like WhatsApp allows you to share live location with the people on your contact list. They will be able to see you are moving from point A to B to C in real time. Hope that answers your question.

Yes. It is pretty easy to bring back the real location of your device. Just restart (turn off and on) your iPhone and it will start displaying the real/actual GPS location. I hope that helps.

I used two point mode but after I unplugged my phone and turned my laptop off it stopped moving and showed my location stuck in a random location out of the way of the origin and destination point. Is there a specific way to disconnect to prevent this from happening?
For 2 point/multi spot mode, iPhone needs to stay connected to computer. When you use the “Teleport mode” you can disconnect the iPhone from your computer.
If you want to change your real time location without connecting your iPhone to computer, then you can check the new toolbox feature of this app, which allows you to install the location spoofing app on your iPhone. It is near the “account login” option of the software.

Yes it will work on findmy as well and others will see the fake/modified location.

I tested out for iOS 16, and it will last forever after you disconnect the cable with your Mac! But I wonder why can’t anyone build an app for this :(
I'm glad it worked for you. Apple doesn't allow apps like this to be listed on the App Store, so the developers can't do much about it.

@RainierReacts when IOS 16 first came out it was still working on my iphone 14 pro, but after 12.1 came out it no longer faked my location.

I don't think they will be able to detect it unless you accidentally restart your iPhone.

If for example I am at home and I want to go somewhere, can I put the same location?
Yes, you can easily do that. You can search any place like a school/university, restaurant, coffee shop, etc. in the map and modify your location.
Regarding the app on the laptop. For instance let's say I change my I phone location, can I close the application on the laptop/can I disconnect my laptop from WiFi and can I turn my laptop off?. Will any if these reset my iPhone gps location
You can use the first mode of the app (teleport mode) to spoof your GPS location and then disconnect your iPhone from your computer and even shut down your computer. The fake location will kept showing till the time you restart your iPhone.

Hi, are you using any VPN app on your iPhone or the computer. That could be the reason why it is showing "Network Error" message.

Sorry for the late reply. The fake location will stay on your iPhone until the time you restart it. In practical, I tried it for about 3 days. The developer is working on an app that can be installed on iPhone with the help of computer software so that you don't need your computer every time you need to spoof your GPS location. I will remind you if that new app gets released in the month of May.

Technically yes, it should stay on your iPhone until you restart your device, but I tried it for maximum 48 hours. Hope that helps.

I can't seem to get it to work. I did all the steps, but in the end it says "Initiaizing" and then error. Restart phone. Does it not give you demo run? Is it because I have to be logged into a created account? We should be able to test this before paying.
Yes. You should be able to use it a few times before actually paying anything. Try again after tuning on the flight/airplane mode. I will ask about this error from the developer, but don't think they'll respond before Monday. Sorry about that.
Thank you, I actually did get it to work now. My mistake was not turning on "Developer Mode." On the website instructions, it only shows this for Android. However, it does say to do it it in software. So I was confused. It does work!

Hi, good to hear that the Xcode is working for you. By real time location I meant the live location. Few apps like WhatsApp allows you to send your live location as well, so you can’t modify with the Xcode, but it will work if you just want to modify the current location. Hi, I tried it for maximum 96 hours (4 days) and after that I restarted my iPhone. It might work forever, but I tried it 4 days max.

The location that you choose will stay on your iPhone. If you fake your real time location using this software, then it will change as per the places you have entered in the software.
