What's Changed on British Airways? A350-1000 Travel Corridor Flight

- I flew with British Airways on an A350-1000 in the new Club World Suite from Dubai to London Heathrow. The trip was to UK to see the last British Airways B747. During the flight, I discover the latest British Airways product and see what’s changed onboard.
Currently there is a travel corridor (air bubble) formed between the UK and the UAE, passengers no longer need to quarantine or self-isolate. This has resulted in a spike in passenger volumes and passenger confidence in travel. My flight was full, with lot of children, families and leisure travellers. I interviewed several passengers about their travel experience.
To my surprise the flight time was exactly 7 hours and 47 minutes, which set a perfect tribute for the last flight of the British Airways 747. Video link: • The Last British Airwa...

@@salaha.3689 COVID is literally everywhere, that doesn't mean you cannot fly. But I'd advise against it.

the 747 captain seemed so sad that he didnt fly it anymore

Thats what hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes are for to clean the box etc

Sam's flight experiences are always good cos he gets VIP treatment from the airlines. Not the most objective of reviews but it's not his fault.

@@jamie2954 yes but also no the more you fly the more respect and rewards you get and if you fly business class or first class often they give you a ton of respect because I don't vlog but wow they really are nice and friendly Emirates, Qatar, British airways and etihad

Even when lockdown ends, the major problem for me about travelling isn’t the confidence about COVID safety; but the price of all the tests required to enter different countries.

Sam, I would really love it (I'm sure many others would also) If you would include the full takeoff and short final through landing sequences. For us aviation heads that can't get enough it would be great! Love your videos as always!

Now: restricted flights from UK from over 50 countries.
Those fight attendants without any eye-protecting goggles or glasses look pretty dangerous.. Air droplets through eyes is one of the main ways of covid infection. As I know plastic gloves and eye PPE are mandatory for crew in other big middle east/ Asian airlines.

Sam....I've been grounded for 10 months. I just booked a flight in January. I pretty much only fly BA. I'm lifetime Gold with BA so I'm locked in. But I'm flying the A350 for the first time on all 4 legs of my journey in Jan. I appreciated this preview of what to expect. I never miss one of your videos. Always good to see another video from you Sam. Great to see you back in the skies. I thought the BA cabin crew just looked - quite sad and defeated. Tough times for their industry and for their homeland. Can only hope things get better for them soon.

The A350 and the 787 are definitely the future! Last few on a A350, umm 10-12 months ago! ! really wanna fly now! Also BA flew a A380 to Doha for winter storage!

Sam i remember when last year on August 5th you were among the lucky people to fly on ba's a350 inaugural flight from LHR to MAD return. 16 months have gone by ever since and unfortunately a lot of changes have taken place due to covid-19. And now The final flight of the queen of the sky. Will be sadly missed😪. Love that

Good video Sam - great to see UK and UAE travel corridor in full swing. Slightly to late for me after I had to cancel my holiday to Dubai in October. On a negative note - disappointed to see the clip of you talking to the travel agent gentleman with his mask down and you clearly not adhering to social distancing. Granted you had you mask on but no protection of your eyes, skin or clothes.
It’s sad to see the queen of the sky retiring this year I’m very lucky to be able to get a picture of it when was flying to Orlando, FL

Was planning a flight this year on A350 but didn't go ahead hopefully soon. Hope you enjoyed your visit to UK and enjoy seeing the last BA 747. I was so glad I got to fly back from Miami last year on 1 as knew it was on borrowed time. Still heartbroken and hasn't sunk in they've retired them. 12:35 was also probably the last Virgin Atlantic B747-400

Sam, I really liked the design on the mask you are wearing at the start of this video. And the menu in the meal boxes by British Airways really look great.
