The popular image of him is that he is nice, kind, sweet and cuddly, and yes.. he is all of that, but he is also nasty in the way most people don't even realize. And, yes, he is an old soul. He takes a lot of influences from 60's, 70's and 80's music. I also think his voice is perfect pop voice, but he can also belt when needed. Even during interviews when he was with 1D, the interviewer said something like "female." Harry said, "Not necessarily." He's always encouraged Rainbow 🌈 flags at his concert too. For Harry's Halloween concert, I found a Halloween/Rainbow flag I sent my daughter since she attended as she was attending college back East. I was actually nominated one year for a local LGBTQ Ally as I volunteered in helping out the Youth Pride Chorus, at Pride Parade & othe events. My daughter was VP of her HS schools GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) & I hosted meetings more than once. I've been attending Pride when it was only a handful of people in the 80's. So you shouldn't just assume I'm anti-lgbtq from my post about Harry. I never said it was bad. I think it's great he embraces his own self. Just like David Bowie, Elton John & way before them, Little Richard was one of the father's of R&R was gay but back then you had to be "in the closet."

personally I also only know this song from him but I would say it is a good copy of the original. He didn't move it to a different genre that he might prefer personally and he didn't butcher it either. Nawh sledgehammer is about “adult fun times.”
He came from a boy band, One Direction. But his own stuff is pretty good. His 1st solo lp was a lot like classic rock. He's mostly pop/rock though. His best at his his songs. He's a good song writer in his own right. Harry is at least bisexual. He plays a lot with gender-bending clothes, like David Bowie. Play "Sign of the Times."

@@thetannaree I have nothing against anyone who is bisexual or otherwise. I've always been a huge supporter of LGBTQ rights. Harry has always been pretty open in interviews about liking both genders. Even during interviews when he was with 1D, the interviewer said something like "female." Harry said, "Not necessarily." He's always encouraged Rainbow 🌈 flags at his concert too. For Harry's Halloween concert, I found a Halloween/Rainbow flag I sent my daughter since she attended as she was attending college back East. I was actually nominated one year for a local LGBTQ Ally as I volunteered in helping out the Youth Pride Chorus, at Pride Parade & othe events. My daughter was VP of her HS schools GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) & I hosted meetings more than once. I've been attending Pride when it was only a handful of people in the 80's. So you shouldn't just assume I'm anti-lgbtq from my post about Harry. I never said it was bad. I think it's great he embraces his own self. Just like David Bowie, Elton John & way before them, Little Richard was one of the father's of R&R was gay but back then you had to be "in the closet."

You need to check out both his albums, 'Harry Styles' & 'Fine Line', and his third about to come out in May. His music ranges from rock, 70's & 80's, indie, pop. He can do it all. Harry has a lot of grit to his voice when he wants to and a huge vocal range. You might want to start with Harry's first solo song, 'Sign of the Times'. personally I also only know this song from him but I would say it is a good copy of the original. He didn't move it to a different genre that he might prefer personally and he didn't butcher it either. So I am not sure if that is because he is a pop singer or just wanting to stay true to the original

And I do agree with Peter Gabriel that it is a well done copy of the original. Just saying that if that is the case then it is unfair to judge his potential range of vocals/genres based on this cover

He did a nice job but it's a pretty basic cover. He didn't do anything very different from the original. His voice sounds good.
