Perrin is rumored to show up in the Blueberry Academy (BBA) portion of the DLC, and Kleavor is the only Hisuian Evolution to have a Saved Dex slot, similar to Basculegion and Ursaluna did in Kitakami's Poké Dex.
    --
I think some Pokémon from ancient Hisui may have gone extinct, but we know that NOT all of them did.
We know Growlithe was the first Pokémon to be properly domesticated by Humans, so it makes sense that they were interbred with softer Pokémon and lost their Rock-Typing.
(Why does Perrin have 2 H.Growlithe? Because they're basically Family Heirlooms, she explains this. They're the LAST Purebred Hisuian Growlithe in the Modern Day-we see this as the case, because if you try to Breed a Hisuian Arcanine, you get the Modern Kantonian Variant instead.)
We know some Variants adapted and survived, but some may have stopped using the Hisuian Variant and died out.
Overqwil was too aggressive, had major competition outside AND inside Sinnoh, so they had to take a smaller Form later, and became a bit more docile. (We know the Hisuian people love eating Qwilfish though.)
Wyrdeer stopped Evolving because their fur was perfect for Clothing in the cold climate, and Modern Stantler can't even Learn/Use PsyShield Bash anymore.
We know Typhlosion outside of Hisui have lost their connection to the 108 Spirits of Spiritomb and can no longer use ghostly powers.
Samurott adapted to America/Unova and is less a rogue samurai, and more a wise, respectful Warrior.
And we already knew that Decidueye was based on an Extinct Owl (In Hawaii, the barn owl died out), so giving it a living "Form" just makes sense.
It used to take its "Hisuian" Form when it was alive, but then died and cane back as its "Alolan" Form.
Braviary were ultra aggressive in Hisui, and would fly around the World during migration.
Perhaps H.Braviary exist in a Modern Russia-inspired Region, but currently they are only known to Exist in their American Variant--sorry, "Unovan" Variant. This is also shown when Breeding, as Rufflet can only Evolve into their Modern Counterpart.
Remember, this was also the case for the first batch of new Sinnoh Evolutions--based on Older, possibly Extinct Species.
Piloswine needs Ancient Power to Evolve into Mamoswine
    Yanma into Yanmega
    Tangela into Tangrowth
It's not uncommon for Pokémon to die out, then unlock their Evolution later through technological means.
(The Pokémon World has ALWAYS been much more technologically advanced than our own--though based on our own current technological progress.)

    • @jark06
      @jark06 Před 9 měsíci +4

I like all of these explanations outside of the starters, I think since they were brought from other regions by Laventon they instead adapted to the environment in Hisui. I think Decidueyes dex entry even talks about how it’s changed to fit the cold climate of Hisui, which proves the existence of regional variants. In a way this makes the starters similar to Ursuluna, as they’re already rare Pokémon that have travelled from a different region and had to adapt.

That sounds good in theory, but if that were the case, why can the Modern Variants not exist in Hisui?
Besides, there's only a minor ~ 300 or 350 years between Hisui and Sinnoh.
But in that time, Johto Typhlosion can exist inside Sinnoh, but Hisuian Typhlosion can't?
That's why it makes more sense having those be "older" forms, more suited for Hisui, than their modern counterparts.
      That's all I'm saying:
We know that WE, the Player can 'Selectively' Breed Pokémon in the Modern age by Using HOME to "Transcend" the Boundaries of Space and Time--I used HOME to Evolve the Hisuian Starters in Hisui instead of their Modern Counterparts inside Paldea.

I wish it was an actual variant of Ursaluna. Like say regular Ursaluna died off but in Kitakami the small population of Ursaring line survived but the Ursarings or possibly locals found a way for Ursaring to evolve without the Peat Rock and was only under Blood Moons. But evolving from a Blood Moon instead of a Full Moon changed it and became known as the Blood Moon form even though there are no Ursaluna in the modern day. And that’s how it adapted to survive possibly with or without human intervention. I think that’s so much better than there is one in existence that we all just happen to find. That would be like finding and catching Bigfoot or The Loch Ness Monster or The Abominable Snow Man. Man, I LOVE Bloodmoon Ursaluna but I hate that it’s a one of a kind. I want to catch a Teddiyursa train and evolve it into Ursaring then keep training then eventually evolving it into this special ‘modern day’ version of the ancient Ursaluna that we would have been taught in school (if PKMN was real).

It is my theory that the Ursaluna species never went fully extinct but are living in a tiny pocket somewhere hidden from our (the player’s) reach. For anyone who has played Monster Hunter you may be aware of the concept of a Variant or Deviant monster, a specific individual of a species that has undergone some strange external change forcing it to adapt and survive to compensate, resulting in a much more dangerous and volatile creature. If Bloodmoon Ursaluna was a normal Ursaluna it’s possible they moving from Hisui to Kitakami after drifting across a small sea would be traumatic for the animal, and in desperate instinct to survive violently mutated and become significantly more dangerous to protect itself. Through hardship comes strength sort of idea rather than zombified prolonged immortality due to crystals, which I find also equally plausible.

I think Timeless Woods was named like that because the people of Kitakami encountered the Ursuluna and Hisuian Basculin who they believed were extinct. The pokemon website says the Kitakami people dont go into those woods (likely because of the Ursaluna).
My theory is that Ursaluna swam into the ocean of Hisui but encountered a distortion zone that warped it into the present time along with some Basculin who swam in the sea. The distortion area existed/teleported around the pond area of the woods. Explaining why the Basculin could breed but not get out elsewhere due to the waterfall. Ursaluna adapted to modern times into this unique form.

I have a theory, In legend arceus starters are from gen 2, 5 & 7.
so what if we got alpha sapphire and Omega ruby for gen 6 mega evolution treatment in other gens too.
Like unova getting gen 9 terastal phenomenon and johto getting dynamax and alola getting porting to switch.
So if you count that we can get all 4 gimmicks on switch before they going to new model for an switch replacement. It would be great.
    Gimmicks so far...
    Gen 1 - mega evolution (let's go P&E)
Gen 2 - dynamax / terastal phenomenon (upcoming game)
    Gen 3 - mega evolution (AS&OR) & primal reversion (As&Or)
Gen 4 - frienzied Pokemon (legend Arceus) & origin form (LA)
Gen 5 - terastal phenomenon (upcoming game)
Gen 6 - mega evolution (xy)
Gen 7 - z-moves (sm) and special z-moves (usum) & mega evolution (sm & usum) & bond phenomenon (usum)
Gen 8 - dynamax and gigantamax (Sw&Sh) & blue dynamax (dlc)
Gen 9 - terastal phenomenon (sv) & tera form (dic).
Since mega evolution entered 4 regions, we are expected to see terastal phenomenon in 3 regions too.
Only z-move and dynamax were exclusive to their regions at this point.
So here our switch games launch theory ends...
    (Opens another theory😉)
Eternatus is scared of rayquaza is the reason, it is afraid to leave the galar. Does dynamax energy only exist in that region. Because the energy leaked from eternatus created dynamax.
Light trios ultrawormhole is only wide open in alola (like aliens only visit America) is the reason why z-moves exist only in that region. Because the energy leaked from ultrabeast created z-moves.
So here our alien theory ends....
    (Looking for more theory😂)
Mega evolution was created by az ultimate weapon in the middle of war between kalos (france) and paldea (Spain).
The ultimate weapon launched destruction to sky brought back two energies. One was the place which was hit directly (no Pokemon or people survices except people saved by terapagos) and leaves only crystal (terastal) & the other was the place which got affected by radiation of hit (little away from blast distances) which leaves the Pokemon to die and souls stored in mega stones.
(We seen the Pokemon turned into crystals on Pokemon xy cutscenes).
(This is Pokemon franchise we are talking this we always get trio treatment so does next theory which continues the last one)
The energy which reached the sky somehow settled in sky does attract more aliens including eternamax (remember our 1st theory), deoxys, and ultra beast. Or else they could be no reason for they emerges in different regions (since sky has no boundary).
(Here is why 4 regions have mega evolution)
Then we know why heonn got mega evolution because the Meteoroid brought it which is the az ultimate weapons strike the sky somehow stored on asteroid belt between Pokemon earth and moon then asteroids absorbs one another and does contain massive mega energy while enter atmosphere which awakens primal reversion.
The little energy stored on atmosphere is the reason the Pokemon that wanders the atmosphere got mega evolution on its own. Remember mega rayquaza 😉.
Later the Merchant brought mega stones to the kanto and alola.
Here ends our mega evolution migration theory.
Plus people who want to know difference between mega evolution, primal reversion and battle bond phenomenon.
-Mega evolution is the energy stored in mega stones which has impact radiation and life energy of death Pokemon does the Pokemon uses the mega stone evolve futher into 4th stage.
-Primal reversion is the forgotten origin form of ancient Pokemon which has given the duty of creating the world. (Recall primal dialga😂).
-bond phenomenon is the aura of trainer (bonded &) transferred into Pokemon thus it reaches new evolution (just a nugget of mega evolution and pseudo z-moves concept without any moves😂)
Why only certain Pokemon of certain species can achieve gigantamax, still doesn't answered?
But we know the catylex can absorb the energy and release it as its own energy is the reason for blue dynamax. Catylex can, which other mons can't 😂.
Z-moves and z-crystal exist because of beast energy around alola. But why only few has special z-moves because they are the choosen ones by the alola guardian just like they did with ash Pikachu.
G9 - Titan Pokemons eats herbs from Tera crystal farms does fuels Tera energy in them.
G7 - totem pokemons absorbs the ultabeast energy leaking through ultra wormholes.
G4- Frienzied (Noble) Pokemon got energy from timespace rift and Arceus plate.
G4 - alphas are regular leader of species guards territory.
Question here is why gmax are they going to we the last survivors of every species (during upcoming darkest day / doomsday), is that the reason why only specific they can transform?!
We still don't know about kanto war (which clearly happened in lucario movie was between kanto johto heoon hisui), we might guess in legends timeline the kanto johto is one region just like gen 2 games and it's kanto johto which earses the hisui name of the map during war was the reason why we was transferred to that timeline because Arceus (the content creators) wants us to witness it.
The subway trainer in PLA was transferred from unova during the meddling with timemachine's copy in upcoming game in unova region which opens us to use terastal phenomenon in unova game.
Now we know why nest unova reference.
    But why johto ??
Is the timetravel in unova and war arc from kanto johto was going to happen is that why constant Easter eggs....
So we guess the nest game was legends johto and Omega/Ruby unova (continuous story of Tera crystal on unova) or let's go unova (merchant brought Tera orb to unova).
    That's all folks...👋

We still don't know why Pokemon from hisui still alive in modern era thus the another timemachine copy was ready in sinnoh or Arceus traded our trainer by the hisuian Pokemon 😂 or it's the terapagos with the Lucius the great ancient adventurer during his world travel who brought them to their limbo (timeless place) then releases it wild by heath during their Pokemon sv timeline??

Hate to say it but your theories in this video make a few big assumptions. Issues I have:
    1. Perrin never acts like Ursaluna do not otherwise exist in the present, she simply says they were not uncommon long ago and that Bloodmoon is one particular Ursaluna she is looking for because it is different from other ones. Logically all that is needed to get a normal Ursaluna in modern times is to give a Ursaring the right kind of peat at the right time, as the species is still coded as being able to evolve, the means is simply not available to the player or readily accessible in the wild as far as we've seen (there's a decent chance the manufactured environment we get to explore in Part 2 of the DLC will change this).
    2. Aside from the name there is little to suggest the Timeless Woods have any major effect on pokemon. Almost all of the ones found there are ordinary. And the White Striped Basculin are not immortal relics, given their dex entries still refer to them as migratory (moving from the sea to freshwater and back) and how ones who die during migration help others evolve into Basculegion. Kitakami is simply where a White Striped Basculin population can now be found.
There is also no speculation needed regarding if Bloodmoon came from Hisui. Perrin states that is what happened, back when Sinnoh was still called Hisui, and apparently this Ursaluna was notably different even back then since it's existence and leaving was recorded.
That said, I agree the herbs and/or Tera crystal energy might indeed explain Bloodmoon's powers and longevity.

Will you make any videos about Kierans arc in the Tiel mask DLC? Everyone I talk to or watch videos of has a different take on him and I'm curious about yours. Does he love Ogerpon for all the wrong reasons? Is he a product of his sister mistreating him? Did he ruthlessly trade his starter pokemon hoping to gain power fast? If he loved Ogerpon longer than anyone why does Ogerpon not trust him from the start? Is it because Ogerpons original master is from Paldea and you so are you so you smell familiar?

I felt there was one or few missed opportunities. The opportunity I had in mind was to add a mechanic in the game which allows access to the Hisuian Pokémon from Legends Arceus. For example, you can head back into Area Zero and to the time machine. There, the machine has been degraded to a limited function. The time machine can give special items in exchange for league points/LP. these can be evolution items like the Peat block or Black Augurite (for ursaluna and kleavor) Or held items to give to certain starter pokemon like Rowlett, Cyndaquil and Oshawott. The time machine can also function similarly to the TM machine at the Pokémon centers but with the addition of learning moves from the legends Arceus game.
sadly, I was too optimistic and someone said I was asking too much of gamefreak. In reality, all I am gonna get is the content gamefreak scrapped in order to overcharge me...

    • @HeroHansel321

it’s only found in the ancient marshlands so one would infer that the peat was used for foundation for buildings, essentially cutting off a way for ursaring to evolve

Not gonna lie I feel bad for catching this Pokémon since doing so will ultimately cause him to die and finally make Ursaluna extinct since the nature of the Timeless Woods not only aids in his longevity, but also allowing him to resist the effects of mange which has clearly long since infected him. This is seen in how much physically weaker he has become with a huge drop in hp and attack a clear sign of emaciation and how much weaker his special defense is which can be attributed to depression, both of which are symptoms of late stage mange.

    • @jacksonvoet8312
      @jacksonvoet8312 Před 9 měsíci +1

I don’t think the woods do that, they’re named that BECAUSE an Ursaluna is rumored to live there. And that “mange” is specialized peat armor that is similar to regular ursaluna. And the higher health most likely is because it’s fighting like a wild animal, life or death. Pokémon only go all out when they’re in mortal danger. Also, it’s clear from how Perrin says it, Ursaluna just aren’t common anymore. Most Hisuian Pokémon aren’t. They just don’t live anywhere us players can reach.
