You say there is a glare on the screen... How about removing the plastic foil off of the screen first?

You also might be able to get a replacement board from Evoo other product lines the size of the board is similar to boards in there larger 15.6 in laptops. Linux would be a good alternative OS
I see some of the IO is connected with a Ribbon cable and surrounded by Empty space maybe a NVME or Msata card with ribbon cables on either side could be had from ally express that would permit a SSD to be added. or solder on some new chips

Just got mine today. It's not plastic. Seems very sturdy and set up is very simple. As for the memory it is very little but mine came with office 365 free for 1 yr plus 1 tb of cloud storage so I am good with that.

I predict windows update will notify you the hard drive is full everyday! i had 32gb hard drive laptop and thats what happened, you have to factory reset it and save everything on a flash drive all the time, its not worth the trouble.
Warning do not get this I bought 2 of these the storage will run out and also both of the laptops the battery broke so you cannot use it unless you have the charger plugged in and it also gets very hot fast

I actually have a similar laptop. It is also an evoo with the same 4 gb ram, 32gb storage and an intel celeron 3350. But my evoo laptop is 13.3 inches, has a touchscreen and goes into tablet mode. It also has an m.2 ssd slot. I reinstalled windows on it from my clean windows 10 assembly usb, and now windows only takes up 16gb of storage and doesn't have any bloatware which speeds up the laptop a lot. The only problem I had was that the graphics driver didn't want to install and I had to install it manually. Overall, great battery life and great screen. It is also thin and lightweight, and I use it for school. Does the job fine.
I just picked up the newer version of this laptop from Microcenter. It has 64 GB of memory and sold for $60.
I needed to purchase a laptop to work from home during this pandemic. I will have to download the needed software for that, do you think this is a good choice? The fact that it comes with office also wins me over. I just don’t want to waste my money.
First check that the software or program you are using is available in the Microsoft app store. If you're just looking to run office 365 and browse the web, it should work great. Check the MS app store here:

If it's in the app store, it's probable that it will run with this laptop. This runs Windows S, so if it's not in the app store, it's likely it won't run on this laptop. I would not recommend installing regular windows on this as there is not enough storage at 32gb. It's great for ~$100, but if you need to use a program that's external to the MS store, probably need to pass and buy another laptop.

That’s a great question. It will be fascinating to see something like Stadia or a cloud-based version of Windows running on it. If they can eliminate lag it opens up a lot of possibilities for an inexpensive laptop like this.

It would be good for writing papers and browsing the web. There is very little storage so photos or videos for class presentations will likely need to be stored on an USB thumbdrive.

@@beefmaster_james Dude! I'm trying to troubleshoot this for a young student. This laptop suddenly doesn't turn on. I tried the power button spam without battery and power reset but no difference. Basically as soon as the battery or the adapter is connected, the power status indicator will just blink every 5 seconds or so. Did it actually die just like that?
Based on your review, I just brought one from Walmart with 4G ram and 64 hard drive. It is quite fast. I am pleasantly surprised with the build quality and the look of the computer. The question is how long it will last.......

@@oshanegreen1954 I turned off Windows S mode. Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point run OK, pretty fast for a Celeron. I have been using the computer daily for about 3 weeks, so far so good. Hope it lasts !!
Yikes Celeron processor. I hope they made those better than the Celeron that was in my Inspiron laptop back in 2002.

I don’t know about roblox, it will run I mean it’s on the Microsoft store, but it should be fine for schoolwork.
