Any, more memories *& experiences to share :: re ARMY, HIGH altitudes, mountains. ….Interestingly, I done ARMY ROTC ( PURDUE CADRE: HONOR GUARD, SSG,1965-67)…… best talks were with new by MAJORS,, NCO**#s**:: fresh back from Vietnam War, and trips to PX AT FORT Benjamin HArrison((* now big State Park, & erc)), AND DOING the Colors @ INDY 500 Parade,etc…….I kind of miss FORT BEN , OVER THE YEARS, as stayed in Indiana ( THRU Pharmacy School) to work/ Family, & just now moved to HELENA VALLEY MT ( another small FORT William HArrison, here,etc.)……
Hi Cat You didn't mention why she cooks away from the tent for your followers. Bc of bear safety, never cook and eat where you sleep, food odor can attract bears and prompt bear attacks
I spent several weeks at 12000 ft in Colorado and it took a while to get used to that altitude. As my host said, who lived there year round, “It takes forever to cook beans.” That was her sole comment on the altitude. Anyway, she let me use her horse for $2.00 PER DAY! As you can see, the scenery and your hike brought back some memories which touched and warmed my heart again. Safe travels Catherine!🙋🏻♀️

Cappuccino and Catherine on a Sunday morning before church. Yet another "Goldilocks" video. Perfect in every way! At least I finally came up with a way to describe your artistry. I like your taste in cookies. I have a weakness for the Sausalito version. If you ever see cookies called "Apple Bettys", get them! Haven't seen them in ages. But, they are oh so good! Enjoyed seeing you hike an abandoned railroad line. My kind of adventure. When I cook, I usually have my steak medium-well. Thankfully, supermarket salad bars are starting to make a comeback here. Both of you are so wonderful and what fun Tammy is. Almost 12,000 feet is a very difficult hike in thinner air. I have done a 9800 foot hike in the Alberta Rockies. Wow, two of my favorite channels in one video. Such independent strong women visiting and sharing the amazing area. I love it up there but will never be able to visit again. Eight thousand is about my limit due to health issues. Thank you for bringing back the memories of my one trip to the Colorado Rockies. So beautiful. Maybe some day I can get back to some of the lower elevations there on the west side as I did not see very much of that area. I was mostly on the front range near Boulder and Rocky Mtn National Park. I also went to the ski areas around Camp Hale historic site in summer. I understand the west slopes are very different. Thanks again and safe travels. Headed to Tammy's to watch and just might have to watch this one again it was so good.

Sunday morning, with two blondes in a forest. Wow! Two outdoorsy gals happy high in the mountains, testing their lung capacity. You must be the fitest hikers around! HAHAHA! I like that tent cabin! Tammy, cabin building? Yeah, I guess that's best for winter if you're year round on the homestead. Scenery reminds me of Tioga Pass. Definitely more vast and higher! I would need a week to acclimate! Another place that Catherine has put on my itinerary, the Colorado Highlands.
