I haven’t had any rust in any of the Nissans I’ve had but that’s mostly been while in South Carolina. Japanese cars for some reason always seem to be more prone to rust in northern climates than some others. But keeping them clean helps a lot!
I think Nissan could build a halo truck. That Warrior concept with that V6 and maybe a hybrid could compete with the Raptor type of truck. But thats a pipe dream though. That GTR engine in a Frontier would be sik!
Nissan and all the other "truck" makers need to get off the stick and offer cheaper alternative trucks. $50K+ for other than luxury trucks is a non starter for most families - and only the wealthy or business (that can write off the cost) can afford these. I just bought a mostly loaded 24 SV and love it so far. I got a good deal on it or I wouldn’t have even looked twice at it. Point is, if Nissan decides to bring it back, they need to undercut all other manufacturers for the first few years. Get a bunch of them out there and build interest. If not, they’ll be pushing 15k units a year like they did in 23 and that’s not worth it.
Twin turbo clones , all garbage. Ford , Chevy dodge, Toyota they all will be too expensive to fix . I am going with the secret weapon of the working class. 4.7 liter genius.
I highly doubt they would restart production on a full size truck. I own a 2022 pro-4x and I think it would be great if they do decide to do it, but it doesn’t make sense with how bad they have done in sales. I think they will bring back the X-Terra as some sort of foreign Nissan patrol clone. That would make a lot more sense with the current market. The Titan had a good run, I just rather see this twin turbo v6 in the Frontier, like a beefed up Frontier Warrior (already know it’s not happening).
Turbos will always provide more “power” but turbos average life span is 150k miles and $2k plus to replace. Naturally Aspirated engines are simple pure power without bolt on turbos to wear out.
Personally I can't see Nissan spending time and money on R&D for a new Titan platform. Especially since every year sales numbers have dwindled. Hopefully I'm wrong. I'm currently on my 4th new Titan. Most recently purchased a XD PR. Can't say enough good about the Titan. Nissan failed the Titan because of their lack of advertising.
I agree with the lack of advertising. They really did not support the truck at all! At this point, I don’t think they would even have to put much R&D into it. They could keep the same body style as the 24 - maybe slight interior update and just mate the new turbo 6 onto the existing 9spd.
No one is more sad about Titan going away than myself. 100% chance there will be no electric Titan. Ford can’t move their electric units and Nissan can’t even move their Gas Titans. It would cost over 500 Million to develop a New Titan. Nissan has what it takes except the $. And even if they invested the $ people just don’t give the Titan a look. It’s not a gamble I see them taking anytime soon. The 2020 refresh IMO was very good but it couldn’t have come at a worse time. Covid which wasn’t Nissans fault.
I don't see many people getting excited about a twin turbo V6. However, bring back the RB30 straight 6. That would get people talking and excited. Run a single twin scroll turbo to keep cost down.
I think a ton of people would be interested in a tt v6. The Q50/60 is getting a TON of attention right now because of the potential out of the 3.0 L TwinTurbo. And we know the capabilities of the eco-boost. As much as I like the V8 a turbo six-cylinder, could be a good thing for the titan
@@the_next_adventure It is uninformed consumers that are interested in such things. The straight 6 is superior in every way except packaging. Manufacturers need to get back to designing based on function and not putting form first. When function is put first, we get things like the A-10 Warthog.
NOOOOOOOOO I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT IDEA EVERYONE ELSE IS GOING TWIN TURBO V6 IN THE FULL SIZE TRUCKS AND ITS A DUMB ASS IDEA IM SO IRRITATED WITH THESE STUPID PEOPLE WHO BUILD THESE JUNKIE THINGS IM SICK OF IT IM STICKING WITH OLDER TRIDE AND TRUE STUFF IM DONE
V6 turbos are KILLING trucks. Yeah, up front it’s giving you V8 power and torque, but THEY WONT LAST! My ecoboost started nickel and diming me at 120k miles.
I owned the previous models and I loved my trucks. Could not wait for this current model, which I thought was going to be a stunning looking truck, like the one (Canadian design) they were showing off, then this super ugly truck came (my opinion - know you love it) and I decided I cannot and will not buy this thing that will give me a fright every time I open the garage! Hopefully this time around the will change the look of the truck. There's a reason they did not sell as well, they're UGLY! lol
Interesting, I think it is one of the best looking truck on the road---hence I bought one. Raptor and Sierra AT4X are the only two that edge it out. Ugly are Dodge, especially the TRX.
They wanna see how many really want it back, it’s a great truck they just need to take it slow and build something not based off the Big 3 look at Toyota and they Frontier. Remake it similar to the Frontier and give it an Interior that rival everyone else , and put in an engine that’s tried an true boosting horse power, torque, MPG and Towing to give them a fighting chance in the market
If they come out with an updated titan with 500hp, totally possible with the twin turbos, and "warrior" style, it will sell like hotcakes, but penny pinchers are deciding now so it will not happen. For example, imagine a xterra with the bones of the new frontier, so easy to make since basically is just redesigning tje back of the frontier, bit will nissan do it? They have benn lagging behind for years now, comong out with behicles outdated from the start.
it saddend me to see nissan be lead away from the truck bussiness by hiring people who do not understand the american love for trucks. infiniti stylist understand more than nissan engineers. if you going make the ugliest truck make sure it at least is some other value fuel economy price performance. they have even started the frontier with the back of the pack. even going to the roots of nissan truck roots in america there was advantage in price and longevity.
@@the_next_adventure I had people leave their truck behind me to see what truck I was driving. They still don't know what it is, but based on their reaction, they like the design.

Heck yeah!
I bought a 2024 Titan Midnight Edition in charcoal grey out the door for $46k, i love it!
@@nathanshaw428 Good Choice!
Frontier Pro4x baby
I only get 400hp in my '23 Pro 4x. This engine sounds nice, but Ram has a new turbo 6 cylinder with 500 hp.
I think the Titan 5.6 will last longer than the turbo 6 banger.
@@kc-6837 several times longer.
Turbos will always provide more “power” but turbos average life span is 150k miles and $2k plus to replace. Naturally Aspirated engines are simple pure power without bolt on turbos to wear out.
@@aharris728 Sad to see the V-8 on the extinction list.
Nissan and Mitsubishi making a ev and a pluggl in hybrid 1-ton truck
I’ve got a 2011 and 2021 pro4x I said I wouldn’t buy anything else!if I ever need another it want be a electric titan!or any electric vehicle!
I’m with you!!
I love the Titan, but unfortunately, I think it’s gone forever .
I fear you’re right
I don't see many people getting excited about a twin turbo V6.
@@firstdaddy It’s not uninformed customers necessarily-it’s not a platform that is available to them lol.
The RB30 would be great in a car but not so much in a Titan.
I think they will come back with a renamed truck. Nissan Warrior.
Man I’d love it if they finally made the warrior
NOOOOOOOOO I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT IDEA EVERYONE ELSE IS GOING TWIN TURBO V6 IN THE FULL SIZE TRUCKS AND ITS A DUMB ASS IDEA IM SO IRRITATED WITH THESE STUPID PEOPLE WHO BUILD THESE JUNKIE THINGS IM SICK OF IT IM STICKING WITH OLDER TRIDE AND TRUE STUFF IM DONE
All I can say is I sure hope so!
Auto makers should learn from Toyota’s mistake.
🎉👍👍👍🎉
I agree with you until you touched EV’s. The sales are not there like you said because they’re trying to compete with Tesla. They are not innovating.
So you do agree with me on EVs?
@@the_next_adventure with all the respect I think that you’re wrong when you said the EVs sales are not there.
V6 turbos are KILLING trucks. Yeah, up front it’s giving you V8 power and torque, but THEY WONT LAST! My ecoboost started nickel and diming me at 120k miles.
rather see them keep the v8
The Tundra 6 cyl Turbo is FAILING catastrophically!
In what way? Sales or reliability?
@@the_next_adventure Reliability is very bad for the new Tundra.
Personally i want the x terra to come back
But small like the original.
It's coming in 2026 I believe. Loved my 08 X-Terra
I own one.
Too much money. For what it is.
I agree totally!
it saddend me to see nissan be lead away from the truck bussiness by hiring people who do not understand the american love for trucks. infiniti stylist understand more than nissan engineers. if you going make the ugliest truck make sure it at least is some other value fuel economy price performance. they have even started the frontier with the back of the pack. even going to the roots of nissan truck roots in america there was advantage in price and longevity.
Ugliest truck? The Titan is one of, if not THE, best looking trucks on the market.
@@the_next_adventure I had people leave their truck behind me to see what truck I was driving. They still don't know what it is, but based on their reaction, they like the design.
@@the_next_adventure I agree. But Nissan should have brought the VTC Super Safari Patrol they are selling in the Middle East, simple 4.8 I6, almost zero electronic issues to go wrong. I am pretty sure it would crush the 4runner and the new Land Cruiser in sales. Not to mention it has front and rear SFAs.
No 6 .
Too small.
That QX80 is a Beast i love that thing. 😍
We agree
This is purely speculation with no facts to back up this jiberesh of a video.
There was no jiberish 😂 I was very clear about what this video was. Never made any statement of fact or claim. You don’t listen very well if you think differently.
@@the_next_adventure I listen well. Just reminding the audience ur video makes the top 10 automotive fake news list per the headline you chose. For future reference, developing a thicker skin will save you some response time
Nissan is the worst company of all. my 2018 titan engine failed at 18,000 miles and they would not warranty...out of warranty,, number 7 cylinder scored .. faulty engine.
They are far from the worst. Crazy warranty wouldn’t cover it. Sounds like the shop didn’t do a good job advocating for you
Actually that would belong to Chevy
Diesel or 5.6 ?
@@codycartertv As a long time GM buyer, I disagree. Their products hold up well if maintained. Several times in the last 40 years, they agreed to fix an out of warranty issue. My 2018 Trax had it's first problem at 85k miles (bad ERG valve). I just traded in my 2019 Bolt for a new Bolt The 2019 Bolt had 0 issues (except recalls) at 55k miles.
I highly doubt they wouldn't warranty a cylinder 7 score. My wife had a 2018 nissan armada and 7 cylinder failure. Which nissan from 2017 to 2018 5.6 had 4600 units with cylinder 7 issues. It was machine issues. That being said. Go to nissan usa they will warranty. Dealers suck. You need to contact the hub and they will slap a dealer. Trust me it's very simple.
Nissan trucks suck!! I had a Nissan 2023 Pro X and the value totally plummeted 12k from when I bought it the resale value on these Nissan trucks are extremely horrible nobody likes them nobody wants one I own a 2023 jeep Sahara now and it’s incredible everyone loves it.
Value might plummit but the titans are the best trucks out there
Of course the value dropped once you bought. That’s what happens. Not to mention the market shifted dramatically over the last 12-18 months. You shouldn’t be surprised. You say Nissan sucks but then love a jeep? I’m a jeep fan, but they are terrible. No offense. Plastic components, terrible power plant. Nothing what they used to be.
Total BS post. Goes from Titan to underpowered jeep and loves it. Righttttt
Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler are among the slowest selling car brands in America. All vehicles from Stellantis are sitting on dealers' lots for hundreds of days, losing value even before they are sold. Because they are unreliable and no one wants them.
I bought my Titan because I plan on keeping it for 30 years. Why buy a vehicle for resale purpose. That just mean you didn't love it.
I see 1 titan for every 50 tacomas, rangers, f150 etc. Nissan sucks
They also build a fraction of them compared to the ones you listed 😂 Has nothing to do with quality
That’s why I like the Titan. You don’t see them, and my 17’ Titan is way better than my 19’ F150 with the 5.0.
So you driven and towed with Titans to determine that??
I've owned Nissan trucks for 29 years. Unless Nissan can fix their reliability issues I have no interest in buying another.
What reliability issues?
@@the_next_adventure I bought a 2019 Nissan Titan new that has had multiple major problems. Vibrations at highway speed, bad cylinder liners that required a short block replacement, rear tail light harness shorting out, and finally a headlight replacement that cost $1,900. That's just way too many issues for a 5-year-old vehicle. I had a Nissan Xterra 2007 for 12 years It only had the gas gauge fail. There's no way I would ever buy another Nissan.
BUY THE TRUCK SELL THE MOTOR AN PUT A CUMMINGS IN IT..THEN YOU REALY HAVE A TITAN
No one wants a Cummins Titan lol
funny thing I do and many people in Texas. Just search youtube for people wanting the XD@@the_next_adventure
The only thing I want to do mine other than adding a lift for off-roading, is installing a 50 gallons tank. 26 gallons i way too little!
