Just watch those crazy Hanks . You’ll learn a ton.😎
They say that EV owners will probably go back to gas due no infrastructure across the country to travel.
Three have been some reports lately that say over 50% of EV owners go back to gas and a vast majority still own at least 1 gas car in addition to their EV
I’ve owned 3 titans and I would buy a new one if they bring back the long bed
I have a 2018 pro 4X XD and I can’t say enough how much I love my Titan. I have airbags on mine and highly recommend. I pull 10000lbs often on a gooseneck dump trailer no problem.
Sweet!
Hello! I have a few questions, with adding the 3 inch leveling kit , do you still have full warranty? Also, have you noticed any changes in the transmission since lifting? (knocking on wood nothing horrible) what kind of 3 inch leveling kit did you use for your PRO4X? RSVP please!
Check out the other Titan videos on this channel for more details, but it’s a rough country kit. Nothing voids a warranty. Claims can simply be denied, but they have to prove that a particularly failure was caused by a specific modification. The dealer said generally anything 3” and under will not cause problems with warranty.
Just finished watching some of your other videos!! I love your content & all of my questions have been answered! Thank you , & you’ve just gained another subscriber from me! 👍🏽
Putting it in tow mode also activates the engine brake, which is fantastic. Leave it in tow mode, regardless of interstate or not, it will help with the transmission not searching for gears, make it last longer, it changes the shift points also. Granted, it will drop your mileage slightly. Well worth it though. If the rear of the truck is sagging, when hooked up, you need to readjust the wdh hitch. I agree with you on having to press the button when backing up every time. It wouldn’t have Nissan much, for the truck to recognize when a trailer is hooked up, and automatically shut that feature off, for the rear sensors.
Yes, I tried to show the engine brake on video but didn’t really get good clips. Tow mode is no good on the interstate. I would not recommend running any vehicle at that high of an rpm. It’s not necessary when you’re just cruising. The trans is not that active, especially if it’s relatively flat or you pay attention to throttle input and there is no strain in the engine when you already have momentum. I mentioned having to play with the wdh adjustments when the rear sags. The camper dealer installed it originally and the truck really squatted so I’ve made adjustments, but the Titan is known to sag a bit so still highly recommend air as support. Obviously depends on the shocks you have too! Overall though we do like the truck and it’s been good for us for any purpose we’ve needed it for.
@@the_next_adventure Yes, I’m impressed by the engine braking on this vehicle. I agree, the Titan is underrated. The numbers don’t always tell the story! BTW- I like the look and functionality of the topper. I’m torn on whether or not to get one. Currently have nothing on the bed. Made a set of sliding drawers, wound up taking them out. I do see the potential for them.
I like how you talked about all the weights. But you are wrong on the payload. You probably have around 1250 lbs of payload and you didn’t mention the added weight of the WDH and topper. That is probably another 200 lbs. no doubt the truck feels good. My 21 pro4X also towed great. In case you didn’t know if you are in fact over weight and someone runs into you, the insurance will not pay anything.
I did mention payload at 1250-1300 but yes the topper adds some.
How many miles do you have on it? Any issues with carbon build up on the valves?
I mentioned miles at 85,000. All direct injected engines get carbon build up so I’m sure there is some but it doesn’t seem to effect performance yet. catch can helps as well.
I have the same setup, tows it great
Awesome!
NOOOOOOOOO I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT IDEA EVERYONE ELSE IS GOING TWIN TURBO V6 IN THE FULL SIZE TRUCKS AND ITS A DUMB ASS IDEA IM SO IRRITATED WITH THESE STUPID PEOPLE WHO BUILD THESE JUNKIE THINGS IM SICK OF IT IM STICKING WITH OLDER TRIDE AND TRUE STUFF IM DONE
I have a 2014 Titan LE and its a great truck .
I have a cummins xd and tow often near max capacity. Truck is rock solid. Came from ford and happy with that.
Awesome!
who makes that topper, I just got the same truck and like how yours looks
Thanks! This is the ARE overland
Keep the 9 speed and keep the 5.6L V8. But also offer the turbo V6. Why not offer both engines. Give people a choice.
Good idea
V6 turbos are KILLING trucks. Yeah, up front it’s giving you V8 power and torque, but THEY WONT LAST! My ecoboost started nickel and diming me at 120k miles.
Scope the valves ?
Asking if I have or should?
New generation Pathfinder has same stupid passenger seat- too low and no height adjustment. WTF Nissan?
Best truck on the market own loaded 23 Pro 4x love the truck have a new company truck 2024 tundra not even close with regards to quality fit and finish drive . Nissan keep making them !!!!!!!!
nice job...I too live in Greenville. currently ISO a solid 2023/2024 Pro4X...sems the dealers here do not discount very much...having to look outsider SC. Keep up good content..
Took me a long time to find this one! Had to drive out to Pawleys Island
Where is this at sonora??
Yes!
Smart move keep Titan! Tundra maker is up for grabs, bad motors 22-24!
I traded my 2021 SV in tonight for the 2024 Bronze Edition. I had no clue until now that they were discontinuing my beloved truck. I really hope they bring it back…. I can’t see myself in anything but a Titan. 😢
don't you have a q50 channel or am I mistaken?
I have a channel that featured a Q50, yes.
czcams.com/video/t2lQmcHL0lg/video.htmlsi=ytUek0tHsPa62CDD
Most Americans that drive pickups buy fords 2nd Chevy, less GMC and RAM, I think Toyota benefited more after Nissan stopped the Titan
rather see them keep the v8
Auto makers should learn from Toyota’s mistake.
How many are coming from the Toyota Tacoma or Tundra to Nissan trucks, now?
I’d be interested to know!
🎉👍👍👍🎉
ive had my Titan 4x4 for 18 years, the best truck ever. i will not buy v6 turbo truck,, i have a V10, V8, R50 pathfinder V6 4x4,, and flat 4 Subi. Fullsize trucks natural v8, with an ignition key.4x4.
No 6 .
I own one.
Too small.
Too much money. For what it is.
Hood paint gets chipped. Gas mileage stinks. Front window column inside covers bow out. Doors will close in a slight breeze. Overall I'm happy.
😂
If they bring the Titan back without a NA V8, Titan buyers wont want it. We dont buy the Titan for fuel mileage.
It's not just fuel mileage. Its power, torque and the ability to modify that makes a turbo attractive.
NISSAN can't sell TITAN's because they DO NOT ADVERTISE
That’s right
I don’t know if this will help for the rear door not opening any farther….but I owned a 2018 Ridgeline with the same issue. I found a hack on the Ridgeline forum where guys were ordering the door checks for the front doors and putting them on the rear doors and it allowed the rear door to open almost 90 degrees with no rubbing or hitting the front door. Check the Titan forums to see if anyone has tried that.
interesting
They need to look at the tundra and how the v6 twin turbo doesn’t work as well as they thought and they need to keep the v8 just beef up the chassis!
All I can say is I sure hope so!
A rechargeable truck is of no interest to me. Rechargeable anything other than hand tools is a non starter.
17 mpg....,not in az ,summer,mountains....12 mpg
You must be driving like you stole it I get around 20-21mpg here in Phoenix
I found a 2019 Titan S with less than 75 k miles going for $25k. I took a chance purchasing the truck as it seemed to sputter. Traded in a 2014 Jeep JKU with $147 k miles. It turned out to be the transmission. Nissan agreed to replace the trans at no cost. $100 k or 5 year warranty. The five years were to end in May 2024 so I was lucky. Great power and just a great truck without paying 40,50,70 k for a pickup.
The risk paid off! Good find!
I agree with you until you touched EV’s. The sales are not there like you said because they’re trying to compete with Tesla. They are not innovating.
So you do agree with me on EVs?
@@the_next_adventure with all the respect I think that you’re wrong when you said the EVs sales are not there.
Thank you for taking the time to review this topper. It tremendously helps me.
Awesome! Glad to hear that.
We had a 2021 pro4x. Only thing i disliked at the time was the transmission issues, and how the rear doors didn't open to 90 degrees, getting my kids/car seats/stuff into the back was a PITA. Other than that, would take a titan over any other truck on the market.
Sir, the people in the back seat are grown men that act like children. There's a difference.
I’m not sure what you’re saying
Referring to my coworkers I drive in my crew cab. 😂
The last v8 without all the fuel management crap... they need to keep the v8!!!
