We lost our special needs son, Danny, 11 years ago to kidney failure. He always talked about heaven. He said “I go heaven, no more glasses no more wheelchair.” This song lifts me up because I know he is with Jesus. Thank you for this song, it reminds me where Danny is, with our Savior Jesus!❤️

I lost my mom on 6/13/2021. I played this when the funeral home came in for her. We followed them to the vehicle with our hospice leader. It truly was beautiful and emotional all at the same time.

We lost our special needs daughter Briannna. She never spoke, but her smile it was a piece of heaven. No more pain, no more wheelchair, shes running on the streets of gold now.
10th of May 2023 i had a seizure. Hospitalised for investigations. CT scan showed multiple brain tumours(Radiation Induced Tumours from Leaukemia i was diagnosed with in 1971 in South Africa at the age of 8). I was transferred to the National Neurological and neurosurgical hospital in London for emergency open brain surgery as there was a lot of swelling in the Brain. I had a lot of procedures in preparation for the major surgery. Angiogram. Embolization to cut of blood supply to the main and largest tumour which was 7cm. Craniotomy done on the 26th of May which was 7 hours long and critical care was 3 days. Slow recovery though but making progress. Had 30 days of Radiotherapy thereafter which ended on the 11th August. Feeling a lot better now. This song I listened to in my darkest hour knowing that I was held in the mighty Hands of Gods. Hallelujah 🙌🙏🙌. Almost lost my husband this week, he's a little better but not well completely 😔 He's blind and disabled and been through sooo much. But God surely 🙏 loves him Soo much, he's a faithful Godly man and serves God everyday. This is the third time he's been intubated and I almost lost him, so this song hits home pretty close. My 48-year old niece died unexpectedly on August 5th from gall bladder issues that spiraled into pancreatitis and sepsis and took her life within four days. Her dad, my brother, has listened to the song repeatedly. I think it brings him great comfort. I'm sorry for your loss! Blessings.

Thank you for comforting my hurting heart. My son was a disabled vet in constant pain. Then life threw a perfect storm of circumstances at him and he became one of the “22” vets that committed suicide on June 16th. But there are no more scars in Heaven!!

I know how you feel. I lost my older sister 5.5 yrs ago and my mother 6yrs ago. My oldest friend 2yrs ago and most of all my long time friend 's are gone already. The few that are left are mostly in other states now so I don't get to see them. It seems like I just go from one loss to another. Very difficult time. Only God knows how much I have been through.

So sorry for your loss. I lost my mom, too. She passed away over thirty years ago in a fatal car accident. I still miss her each and every day of my life. Then, my brother passed away in July of 2013. This song really hits home for me, too.

He told me 6: months ago " she's with Me and she is happy and she now understand why you were the way you were." Many, many years ago, my wife, my first love was stricken with cancer and I was by her side while she was slowly losing her fight to live, I stepped out to get something to eat and check on things at home when I received a call on my cell phone from our daughter telling me that she had passed away. My husband died from covid in 2021 I listen to this song all the time and every day
This song is a blessings, my late brother died in my hands at home from a heart attack, he never walk, he born with cerebral palsy, he live very good 55 years, but even that was hard to see him go, I know he is with the Lord and he is enjoying better health and the best thing is the I will see him again, praise the Lord!❤
The first time I heard this song was when I was driving back home after meeting with the funeral home following my husband's death. There are no coincidences. My husband fought his rare carcinosarcoma with grace and strength. He is now standing in the sun, he fought his fight and his race is run. His pain is all a million miles away!

Today is 8 years since my husband took his first breath in Heaven at the age of 38. He’d picked up a number of scars along his earthly journey and while my heart will be forever broken, my spirit will forever be at peace that he is truly healed and not suffering anymore.
I just heard this on the radio and was grateful I reached my destination because I just brokedown in tears. My dear sister, my dear Father-in-law and Mother-in-law all passed within ten months and my heart is broken. My Lord is my comfort.

I lost my mother to COVID. I left the ED before she was transferred to a rehab hospital, COVID free. I was told I could visit. I was lied to and next day was told I could not visit. Someone at the hospital gave her COVID. She died at an acute care hospital 4 weeks later. I never saw her in person.again. I am still heartbroken and distraught.. glad she is with Jesus.

This song is so comforting for me. I prayed for many years that my mom and dad walk on the Lord's path. Well God's timing is so perfect. My dad got sick of COVID 19, while he was campaigning to become his town mayor, to help his people. It took just one week for him to leave this world12/24/20, but his cousin more like a brother whose a Pastor made prayer with to reconcile with God. You prayers are not just hollow words, they're important to God. Keep praying and waiting in faith.
We lost my grandfather a little over three years ago. He was a man who gave himself and his entire life to Christ. Contracted Stage 3 lung cancer and it took him to meet Jesus. I just lost my man of 20 years this morning. He has been bedridden a year after a massive heart attack in 2022. My heart is so broken, yet he is free. This song came to mind.
My 39-year-old Son, Jeremy, passed away on Dec. 29, 2019...about 6 months after he left this earth, I "happened" across this song and man O man did God speak to me through these lyrics (which I wrote down in my journal)...I've listened to this song almost daily since then, and it came along at just the right time - bcuz as we know, God's timing is always perfect. When I hear this song for the. first time it brought so much comfort to me .my husband went to heaven in 2019 I miss him so much I thank God for this group of singer.

Oh how I love Casting Crowns!! I can see and feel the genuine love they have for Jesus through their music. They are my favorite contemporary Christian group. I have dearly loved all their recordings but since they released “Scars in Heaven” I think it has become my favorite if I had to choose one. I lost my husband in 2018 so I can truly relate to every word of this song. Thanks Casting Crowns for always lifting up Jesus in all your music.
