- Ben Miller, Fundrise CEO and co-founder, joins 'Squawk Box' to discuss his efforts to help retail investors get in on the AI boom before private AI companies go public, details of the firm's innovation fund, growth outlook for the AI sector at large, and more.
The disdain from this “news” team for the retail investor is gross
Im going to try it
There are a ton of companies on public markets that aren't profitable but generate a ton of revenue.
ARKK stocks
We know AI.... but we did do estate. But trust us
YIKES
Hopefully they haven’t specialized on Commercial real estate))
Can CNBC stop using the term democratize for something that is clearly not an appropriate use of the word?
What do you think is a better word for providing access to the masses?
@@fundrisefanfam The reason why you prevent access to these kinds of investments to the public is that they don't know enough about them and they haven't received the scrutiny of a public company. So the average person should not be allowed to invest in them unless they are actually educated or can afford to lose the money. They use the word "democratize" in order to shift focus away from the predatory aspect of these things and wrap them around a concept that isn't anywhere near what is happening in reality. Idiots fall for psychological tricks like this. It's isn't democratizing anything. The uninformed speculator now has access. That's the terminology. Not anything related to being a democratic action.
Fundrise Fan, Fam is here for the comments. 🤠🚀🌛 .:il
A bunch of people will lose their shirts investing in private companies. The risk is extremely high
I don't trust this guy one bit.
His eyes keeps jumping all over the place ))
Yes, I've been looking to invest in Anthropic for over a year now, after being deeply impressed by their Claude LLM, but this guy and his darting eyes has me second guessing myself.
@@daniyararistam7497 he's an impressive CEO. I read, watch, and listen to everything he produces. And yet, the eye movements threw me off a bit. I'm guessing he was lost in his thoughts, focused on what he was hearing and saying, and not on his body language.

Now all they do is talking about A.I
When the cabbie starts giving you stock tips it’s time to sell.
It’s no longer the cabbie that gives you stock advice that you have to watch out for, it’s the readers/listeners like you and me who are writing the reviews.❤

Lol.. 😂
Wow! That was terrible.
AI is a bubble that has already topped. Retail is not buying over valued stocks at the top. We are not selling undervalued stocks. We will hold forever.
