I’m just hoping we see some news soon regarding DK. It’s too big of a year for Nintendo not to do something for him. I know there’s the park expansion and his predominant role in the Mario bros movie, but it’s discomforting to me that Nintendo is willing to be this silent of any potential new game pertaining to DK (which I’m hoping is a 3D adventure in the vein of DK64). And since you mentioned DK64, I think they could at least give us NSO subscribers something to chew on with dropping DK64 sooner rather than later.
They need to release a new 3D Mario already. Odyssey released in 2017. The wait has been excruciating.
I agree. Speaking about the new 3D Mario game, i think Charles Martinet could be the voice of Mario in that game if it is a launch title, he could have recorded brand new voice lines for the game before retiring? It is possible, what are your thoughts about this?
One 3d mario per console is just stingy.
It would be insane if they released Twilight Princess HD, but with new updated assets like Metroid Prime remastered on the Switch 2. Will probably never happen, but that would be so dope.
When do you think there will be a trailer for the new 3d Zelda?
If it's the same as botw, probably 2025, although since they're not making dlc, it might be sooner.

Doubt it at only 6 months, but it most assuredly will be. There won’t be a direct until after the full reveal for super switch, which could be as late as November

How did you mention only 1 Mario party being super Mario party then casually skip over the mention of superstars ??
I think they skipped over superstars because it wasn't really a new mario party but just mario party with boards from past mario parties and past mini games as well. If I recall there wasn't anything new in there. I might be mistaken though.

I want more Gamecube remakes for the Switch before moving on to the next console, lika Metroid Prime 2+3, Zelda WW+TP, F-Zero GX HD and maybe Star Fox Adventures? Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem would also be awesome (but not very likely unfortunately).

Here’s my predictions for Nintendo between May 2024 and March 2025
May 2024:
- May 2nd: The release of Endless Ocean Luminus
- Second week or middle of May: Nintendo confirms that the next console is in developpment and they will talk more about it in the coming months
- May 23th: The release of Paper Mario TTYD Remake
June 2024:
- June 17th: Nintendo announce a Nintendo Direct for June 18th
- June 18th: The Direct will announce a new Mario Party that will be named Mario Party Shining Star. It will release on October 11th, Metroid Prime 2 and 3 Remaster. Prime 2 Remaster will release on July 19th and Prime 3 will release on August 9th , Kirby’s Blowout Blast 2, it will release on the e shop after the Direct, new N64 games for Switch Online is coming. Donkey Kong 64 will release on June 21st, Smash 64 will release on July 26th and Banjo Tooie will release on August 16th, Zelda ALBW Remaster, it will release on September 13th and they will give an big update on Metroid Prime 4 with a trailer/release date, it will release on November 8th
- June 21st: Donkey Kong 64 is on Switch Online
- June 27th: The release of Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD
July 2024:
- July 19th: The release of Metroid Prime 2 Remaster
- July 26th: Smash 64 is on Switch Online
August 2024:
- August 9th: The release of Metroid Prime 3 Remaster
- August 16th: Banjo Tooie is on Switch Online
- August 19th: Pokémon Company announce a Pokémon Presents for August 22nd
- August 22nd: The Pokémon Presents will give a big update for Pokémon Legends Z-A with gameplay and a release date, it will release on March 28th 2025
September 2024:
- September 13th: The release of Zelda ALBW Remaster
- September 25th: Nintendo announce a Partner Showcase for September 26th
- September 26th: The Partner Showcase will announce Fire Emblem Echoes: Mystery of the Emblem and it will release on February 14th 2025
October 2024:
- October 11th: The release of Mario Party Shining Star
- October 16th: Nintendo announce that a reveal trailer for the next console will release on October 17th
- October 17th: The name for the next console will be Switch Plus, the console will be hybrid, have more power, can play Switch’s games, have better Joy-Cons with no drift, during the trailer we will see sneak peaks of the next 3D Mario and Mario Kart. Switch Plus will have a release for March 2025 and more details will be reveal later
November 2024:
- November 8th: The release of Metroid Prime 4
- November 27th: Nintendo announce that a reveal trailer for the next 3D Mario game for the Switch Plus will release on November 28th
- November 28th: The name will be Super Mario Kingdoms, it will be Open World, you can play as Mario, Luigi, Toad and Yoshi, all characters will have different movesets and the game will release in March 2025
December 2024:
- December 12th: During the Games Awards Nintendo will reveal the next Mario Kart for the Switch Plus, the name will be Mario Kart X (since Tour is consider mainline by Nintendo), the new mechanic of the game will be Drill and the game will release in Spring 2025
- December 17th: Nintendo announce a Indie World for December 18th
- December 18th: The Indie World will not announce anything 1st Party
- December 26th: Nintendo announce that a Switch Plus presentation will happen on January 9th 2025
January 2025:
- January 9th: The presentation will reveal that the battery for the Switch Plus will last 6 to 7 hours depending on the game you play, the Joy-Cons will be a little bit bigger, Switch Online will be available from the start and the release date will be on March 7th. They will announce Switch Plus Sports, you will be able to play Bowling, Tennis/Badminton, Golf, Boxing, Volleyball, Sword Fighting, Basketball, Karate and Hockey. The game will release on March 7th bundle with Switch Plus. A new IP will be devlopped by Mononlith Soft and it will release in Winter, a new trailer for Mario Kart X, you will have a customization for all characters, you will be able to play as Kirby, Fox and Samus, the game will release on May 23rd. A new Star Fox game made by Bandai Namco, it will release in Summer, a new Warriors game with the Xenoblade series and it will release in Fall, a new 2D Donkey Kong game that will be named Donkey Kong Country: King K Rool’s Revenge, the Kremlings are back, the levels will be well crafted like Tropical Freeze and the game will release on June 18th. And the final game will be Super Mario Kingdoms with more gameplay, new bosses, some cutscenes with Bowser and the game will be a lunch title for the Switch Plus and release on March 7th. During the presentation they will announce that a Treehouse for the Switch Plus will happen in the Nintendo NY Store on January 10th with demos for Super Mario Kingdoms, Switch Plus Sports, Mario Kart X and Donkey Kong Country: King K Rool’s Revenge
- January 10th: The Treehouse will show more gameplay for Super Mario Kingdoms, Switch Plus Sports, Mario Kart X, Donkey Kong Country: King K Rool’s Revenge and they will talk about the new Star Fox game with Shigueru Miyamoto. The game will be Open Zone, you can explore freely and the release date for the game will be revealed at a later date
February 2025:
- February 14th: The release date for Fire Emblem Echoes: Mystery of the Emblem
- February 20th: Pokémon Compagny announce a Pokémon Presents on February 27th
- February 27th: The Pokémon Presents will give one final push for Pokémon Legends Z-A
March 2025:
- March 7th: The lunch of the Switch Plus with Switch Plus Sports and the release of Super Mario Kingdoms
- March 28th: The release of Pokémon Legends Z-A
Hopefully Twilight Princess HD gets announced, I don´t mind if they announce it for the Switch 2, I just want it to be announced

I want Nintendo to announce like new Mario Sports switch games, new Mario Party since Super Mario Party and Superstars, or a new 3D this 2024.
I can't say I have much faith left in the Metroid franchise anymore. Even if Metroid Prime 4 turns out to be a flawless masterpeace I doubt it will be a system seller considering neither Dread nor the Prime 1 Remaster sold anywere near as much as hoped.
Metroid as a franchise, was NEVER a system seller.
I don't know why people are so gung-ho about the series selling gangbusters.
