Damn that boy can grapple. Originally I thought it was kind of sacrificial offering to the champ based on the amount of fights between the 2 being 1/4 the fights but the man deserved the shot. Excellent fight.

Seems like a dude with over 30 pro fights would be more familiar with pummeling for underhooks. Maybe cossio's record was doctored a bit before joining bellator. Or maybe he is just overconfident in his strength. Either way, a guy with that many fights doesn't seem like they'd just GIVE an opponent easy take downs, without any opposition

This is crazy to see. Pure dominance by Jesse in the first two rounds, 2 chokes where I could hear Sergio literally wheezing for breath before barely escaping. Jesse took some good body shots from Sergio in the 3rd, and looked to be starting to tire. He did the right thing in getting it back to the ground but he looked to be gassing badly near the end and Cossio looked to have more in the tank. This was damned near an Anderson Silva X Chael Sonnen level of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, right down to the actual submission itself. Props to Jesse for a near perfect first two rounds-- Ive met and rolled with him before and he's a super nice and respectful guy and I feel for him and his coach Big Al in this loss. I know they worked ultra hard for this and it looked like it was in the bag after round 2-- it has to be hard to have it turned around so quickly right at the end. Keep working hard and y'all will be back with a vengeance. 💪
_Im sorry but I don't like the fights that go to the ground for whole round Go to a Jujitsu Tournament for all that but I do kno that it's some fighters ways to win for themselves if they are able to dominate their ops_
