Well now you have Yukon Striker.
I went on the Yukon striker it was awesome
Can you friendship with me
Yukon striker is awesome.
Yep Yukon is the best
Lol I've been on it 7 times
“rides like flight deck and time warp are absolute trash. i would not care if those rides got demolished tomorrow” okay CW is my home park and i’m obviously a fanboy but i agree lmfao
ramon x I’ve been on time warp and I had a huge migraine after but it was still pretty fun for me lol
ramon x time warp is amazing lmfao
Not all bout ur opinions lol some people enjoy them... so like k I guess
I thought time warp was pretty good I didn’t get hurt at all but flight deck......broke my neck
@@tied2002 have you rid it this year, it feels as though they smoothed it out a bit
At 4:28 there's a section of their menu called "South of the Border" that has Mexican food. But since this is in Canada, wouldn't South of the Border be the US?
CoasterKing Well Mexico is south of the border too.
Lol you took clever to the next level 😂
Lol!
Yeah that restaurant seems stupid. American food but no Canadian? South of the Border is referring to Mexico? Seems like it was made for the US.
MrNewcity cause it probably was designed in the US. Cedar Fair is an American company
When I went to Canada’s wonderland with my GP friends I told them “Don’t go on Flight Deck.” They didn’t listen to me and all died
I actually some what like flight deck. I kinda like how brutal it is, its a huge adrenaline rush
Nose it's not even bad pussy
Unpopular opinion: I love the Flight Deck
Kristina Savic most people I know like it
Its a cool looking ride especially with all the details like hangars and stuff but I feel like it has aged to the point where it feels like a wooden coaster but the fact your head is loosely secured it tends to bash you around a lot
Coster studio: they need more costers
Yukon stirker: hold my loop
How did you misspell coasters, twice. EVEN WITH HIS CHANNEL NAME RIGHT THERE?
This my home park and I love it! Shockwave and Psyclone are my favourite flat rides, and Vortex and Behemoth are my favourite coasters. I personally love Time Warp even though it hurts like hell (same with Mighty Canadian Minebuster). The Backlot Stunt Coaster is a great blast Leviathan is awesome, and the Fly is one of the best Wild Mouse coasters! And even though its pricey, my favourite place to eat is The Backlot Café! Overall the park is beautiful and is one of the best in the Cedar Fair chain.
CW has a new section called “Frontier Canada” with Yukon Striker and Minebuster. I think they need to RMC minebuster and add a GCI
If CW gets an RMC it's gonna be ground up. I agree on the GCI but I think it should be built in Minebuster's plot. For the next steel coaster I think we should get a Mack Extreme Spinner, they look incredible. Also yes I know I am replying a year late lol.
@@fyre5287 I personally think they should replace Flight Deck and Time Warp with a B&M Invert or Mack Multi Launch. Also yes I know I am replying a year late lol.
@@NotDavidz I’ll come back in another year with my reply!
They're never going to RMC mindbuster or Wilde Beast.
@@paraskep5080 ground up tho
Thank you so much Coaster Studios for finally making a review of my home park! CW could use a new rollercoaster imo. I agree with you on that one.
wolfcam0838 123 yeah same as me
wolfcam0838 123 my home park too! It's literally like a 15 min drive from my house.. no lie
There getting a new dive in 2019 and there is a high chance it will be over 300 feet.
Rosie_ 0728 same
This is my home park to
This has been my childhood park and I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it! I would love to see Flight Deck and Time Warp demolished too! Sledgehammer is my favourite flatride!
and now they're getting a huge world record breaking dive coaster in spring 2019 it's gonna be insane!
Well that aged well gp man
@@R7SkIlZ ?
@@Superstar35193 it’s a gp that thought a dive would be insane when it was just another boring dive coaster
im man from future, its good 👍
They are building a new roller coaster at Canada's Wonderland that's going to be slightly taller than the Behemoth at 75 to 77 m tall unlike the Behemoth which is only 70 m tall. It will be done for the 2019 season
Either a B&M wing, invert, or flyer would be good at this park.
Not an invert, they would be pulling a La Ronde. An RMC would be nice too.
Im betting on a Raptor or a T-Rex
Dooble or they could build an inverted flying wing coaster
B&m should hire me
As Canada's wonderland is virtually Cedar Fair's testing ground, who knows what they might add. Maybe an inverted flying standup 4d free fly winged with VR coaster.
sarcasm
Taylor how did you survive flight deck? By far the worst coaster I've ever ridden. All my friends call it "The Concussion Coaster"
GD Fsamhero oh yeah it sucked
Coaster Studios Do you celebrate Christmas?
GD Fsamhero the real nickname is 'Flight Di*k'.
Coaster Studios lol my cousin (who was 7 at the time, she's really tall) rode Flight Deck after she hurt her head the day before. It was not pleasant.
DCfan819136 90 of course!
I like how you just casually filmed a seagull LOL
4:30 Looks like Cedar Fair is taking some hints on how Knoebels kept winning Best Food in the Golden Ticket Awards.
They are making a roller coaster at Canada’s wonderland now! I’m super excited for it, it’s called Yukon striker, you can search it up so you can see a simulation on it.
I definitely have to agree with everything you said in this video. With this being my home park, it’s one of my favourites. Great selection of rides overall, but we are lacking another good thrill coaster. Btw it was awesome hanging out with you while you were there, hopefully we can meet sometime again soon!
Dang it Cedar Fair. Stop giving coasters to Cedar Point! Where is Worlds of fun or Canada’s wonderlands coasters??? Both should either get a wing coaster or an RMC!
Atomicsora yeah!!!!
Atomicsora cedar point has both
They have to get cedar point 1st in golden ticket
Cedar Point is like their spoiled child because it is the flagship. Unfair? Of course but that park is their main moneymaker.
Atomicsora Canadas Wonderland must get rid of Time Warp and Flight Deck and you have plenty of space to add something in there. I would add in a B&M Invert though.
Omg this video made me so happy. Canada's Wonderland was one of my first jobs ever. Even before I worked there I used to go there every weeeeek. Sledge Hammer is definitely one of my favourite rides in the park. And I used to work at back lot cafe. Their funnel cakes are my favourite thing to eat in the park, I get one every time I go.
:)
Thanks for doing a review of my home park, look forward to review on Behemoth!!
Great to see you liking my home park! I cant wait till Yukon Striker comes out.
This is my Home park I love Wonderland, I have been going here since for so long, I was there in 1985 when I was only 5 and was lost in this amazing place to when Vortex was built, to top gun and the paramount loss. I know there is some erk's about the park I agree, but definitely come here just walk around and you will see theirs much more. Great review man.
Coaster Studios, wish granted!!!!!! Next year (2019) Canada's Wonderland is coming out with Yukon Striker, which I heard was going to be the fastest 90 degree drop in the chain!!!! It's going to be awesome!!!!!!
My home park! I will still argue with people that get sentimental over the Paramount days that Cedar Fair has given more for a care for the park than Paramount ever did. I absolutely love visiting Wonderland when the warmer months begin. It's not summer without it as far as I'm concerned.
Great video, by the way. You just received a new subscriber. :)
I go once every year and it is so amazing. It is easily number 1 in my opinion topping carowinds, cedar point, and Kong’s island I really do LOVE this park.
Now, they're getting a dive coaster
When I was a kid and before they had all the rides integrated into it, you could walk up Wonder Mountain. You can see the walkways and I think the old bathrooms at the top of Vortex. Before the first drop.
Im going here in juli, and since im dutch i want to do everything. Does someone have any tips?
i thought i could best start of with wonder mountain guardian, the fly, vortex and the bat. because most of them have a low capacity. Or do i have to go for another tactic?
I'm going this weekend. I'm really excited!!!!
Wonderland is my home park and I almost started to cry when you said you didn’t care if flight deck and time warp were ripped out tomorrow
Hey neat! Thanks for reviewing Canada's Wonderland, I have visited this park many time before and even worked there for one season during 2008 (the Behemoth's opening year) as a ride attendant and operator. Good time...
Well they added Yukon Striker. I gotta try that One!
Canada's Wonderland was my home park for three years!!I love the variety of their rides, but as you said, they need something like an RMC or a good launched coaster.
HATED Flight Deck but actually kinda liked Time Warp, it took some getting used to but I found it was actually a fun ride.
I like flight deck for how brutal it is.I still have to ride Time warp tho
I like flight deck
Since timewarp and Flight deck are right beside each other so they can take them both down and put up a big one and if they need more space they can use the parking-lot like they did with Leviathan.
I’ve been to Canada’s Wonderland several time and I love it sooo much!😍😍😍I have been on the slingshot and I recommend it if you ever wanted to feel how it is how to fly!
I'm just happy Cedar Fair bought them out. I don't expect Cedarfair to make Canada's Wonderland better than Cedarpoint but i do expect them to invest in some new rides. The amount of square footage they have at Wonderland is huge. So much room for expansion. Great location too. Does Cedarfair own Darien Lake near Buffalo, NY ?
HEY, I like Flight Deck. it's a great coaster. it is a little rough and the final brake can sometimes rattle you. but it's a thriller because you feel like your feet are going to hit things from how compact the supports are. and it's got quite the motion to it.
I only have 6 hrs there in June 2020 on a Saturday from opening time. What shouldn't I miss? Any tips?
i used to love flight deck. back when I was a kid and paramount still owned the park and it was called Top Gun it was my favourite ride. But as I got older it started to give me headaches and became too rough so I can relate, but it is a good idea for a coaster
As someone who lives in Vaughan, I can say that Canada's Wonderland is a great local park. While it could definitely use a few more "standout rides", I feel like it is a great destination and is very well designed, laid out and run. (And props to them for making a decent profit even though they have to close during winter.)
This is how you can get lots of flips on a sky roller. Flap the wings and hold for 3 seconds then flap the other way and hold for 3 seconds and visa versa. Once you do a full flip just hold that position for as long as possible. Also make sure you hold the top of the wing handles so your arms don’t ache as quickly.
Yup your review is perfectly accurate. Glad I got to meet you and ride the park's best coaster with you (flight deck) ;)
This is my home park lol. Next year (2019) They're adding a B&M Dive coaster, possibly either a wing or launched model. I'm super excited to find out!
Although I do have something to point out.In the video of top ten Arrow coasters you mentioned The Bat.It has the exact same layout as vortex with some slightly different elements. And vortex was manufactured before the bat so is there any reason that you didn't mention vortex? Or is it just you didn't know about it.
I would say this is my fourth favorite Cedar Fair park. However, Kings Island and Cedar Point are still my favorites
Coaster Studios, I agree that ride will almost complete that park all KD needs is a B&M Hyper or Dive (maybe a Mack launch or a sky rocket two like Tempesto
Nice! Planning on going here for summer, mainly looking forward to crossing off another giga coaster on my list of ones to ride! So far I’ve been millenium force and Orion.
I live in Toronto and I completely agree with your opinion. I never really liked coasters until about 3 weeks ago. I had never really been on a big coaster until my friends bullied me in to riding the behemoth front car. I went with two friends today and rode the behemoth 5 times and the leviathan 3. Both are great coasters but they get played out. Thanks for the backlot cafe recommendation, I'll have to try it next weekend.
There was a lot of coaster that was put in after i been there i do remember the mine train and flight deck and time warp was there but i do remember the river ride and the the boat that you got wet on if u walk over the bridge
"do Sledge Hammer... its super weird" LOL. I'm from Ottawa so Canadas Wonderland is the closest theme park to me & I'm a big baby (I hate coasters and drops) but I love sledge hammer and seriously do it if you get the chance! its a cool ride!
What should I ride flight deck or time warp
My man, the themes were in place LONG before Cedar Fair bought in!
Since KI got MT, will be doing an updated review on Kings Island soon?
The great thing about Canada's Wonderland is the deals afterwards. You can reclaim all your day passes for under $20 and go at anytime during the season. It'll always be Paramount Canada's Wonderland to me.
I love your park reviews
Hey, just got into your channel and was looking for a review of my local park, found it here, I’m glad to hear other people like it as much as me!! It gets a fair amount of bashing up here for being too childish, lack of thrill coasters etc.
I didn’t see anyone here mention the fact that the park was operated by Paramount Parks for a long time, and much of the theming (Medieval Faire, rides like Flight Deck was actually branded as “Top Gun,” other things). Also the Snoopy Part was just the old kid’s zone rebranded and painted over, which may lend to how it is very different than other Cedar Fair parks.
I’m pretty sure Cedar Fair bought out Paramount Parks (or at least in Canada) and added the thrill coasters like Leviathan and Behemoth since the change. Cedar Fair also went whole hog into the Canadian theming of some newer attractions and the park in general, and the new rides are much brighter and more vibrant than the old, not just because of age.
Anyways love the channel, come back anytime, hope we get another coaster soon!!
Flight Deck was a joyous time (total sarcasm). My dad's restraint didn't even go down all the way and it felt like being beat up. Mild SLC, not a good ride, but I was laughing through most of it cause of how awful it was so I guess that's a plus it has going for it
Until 2014 they had an awesome ride called skyriders and you were standing on the ride instead of sitting. There was also a few loops on that one.
“Rides like flight deck and time warp are absolute trash, I would not care if those rides are demolished tomorrow. They are that bad.” 😂😂
He's not wrong.
They HORRIBLE!!!!! If you ever go there DO NOT RIDE THEM! flight deck almost gives you a concussion and time warp should be called SPINE WARP!!!!!
Still not as bad as "I'm gonna cheer"
I acually enjoyed flight deck
Soaring Timbers is a Mondial Rides - Type: Inferno and the first of this Rides was opened 22 years ago in Germany.
I love that park and really enjoyed it both times I went there. Time Warp and Flight Deck was horrendous and only did it for the credits..
Are you going to upload a video with a review of the Yukon Striker roller coaster at Canada's Wonderland that opened for the 2019 season?
After I ride it, yes
Leviathan looks so gorgeus with the colors.
I always see the park from my window. Always makes me happy to see it. Agree with most of what you said. Great park
Awesome review Taylor! Canada's Wonderland needs a wing coaster next in my opinion. You're right about flight deck. Half the time the restraints don't even come down fully so you feel like you're holding on for dear life the whole ride.
This park has a mini golf course? I didn't know that. Is it still there today?
All of your wants for Canada’s Wonderland are happening. Canada’s Wonderland is my home park, and I’ve heard they are going to replace Flight Deck and possibly Time Warp with a super huge, hanging coaster. I don’t know if it goes upside down but it will be like a trilogy to the Behemoth and Leviathan
I drove from Philadelphia to Toronto back in the 2000’s I believe it was and I had a blast
stopping at two amusement parks before making my way to Wonderland! I drove past, 'Darien Lake which I did get to visit. I drove past a park I never knew existed called, 'Martins Fantasy Island,' which I got to visit,' then making my way to Toronto, CA I saw Niagara Falls! I did not like the funny money I got after going to an ATM in Canada's casino's because I did not understand how to spend it! I enjoyed Wonderland though! It's big and I plan on doing it again in the years to come being retired and all! I'm going to be able to visit this time around not having to do it around working a job! I'm retired so I'll be able to visit when I want and the best days within a 3-day weather forecast! Life shall be grand!
I love ur Canada's Wonderland videos sm
Please come to Galaxyland at West Edmonton Mall in Alberta!
We’re getting a dive coaster now!! Im really excited, but i doubt ill ever go on...
I absolutely love CW, but I wish you would have mentioned Windseeker in this review, it’s one of my favourite rides!
So I'm in 2019 and they just added Yukon striker and it has a 90 degree drop it's crazy opens may 3rd
When you said that Leviathan and Behemoth were the best, you forget Dragon Fire! I know it’s a family coaster, but it’s got a double loop and double corkscrew! It’s so much fun for what it is!
I LOVE roller coasters, but the really huge ones like leviathan and behemoth really make me nervous. Last year I hated rollercoasters and I was so terrified I didn't even want to look at them. This year, I like all the roller coasters at wonderland except the big three. I have been afraid of them for a long time, and I'm trying to get over my fear. Hopefully I can.
Skyhawk was my very first ride there ever but i couldnt get ant flips in
Time warp, leviathan, and the flight deck, are my favourite rollercoaster
Skyhawk, sledge hammer, and nightmare, are my favourite thriller
In 2018 or 2019 (I forgot which year) Canada's Wonderland will be adding a new Dive Coaster
I really really want to come here. I’m starting to fall in love with Canada and it’s just a place that I really want to go
Taylor my favourite place to eat at CW is also backlot cafe! And remember you zoomed in on the American menu and said, "That's NOT how our American food looks like."
When I went on sky hawk and there was a guy who just wouldn’t stop flipping!!!! Even when the ride ended. JUST KEPT FLIPPING!!!!!!! I didn’t get any flips though. Rode it twice
a rmc that goes through withe water canyon like steel veangance with a smaller drop and a bit more like maverick with the sick theme off canoe down the yukon river on a rough rapids and upside downs with the theme of capzizing which I have had happed on a kyakak and it feels just like a roller coaster that would be so cool.
Have you tried Yukon Striker? It’s such a good roller coaster
Its very different from other parks because it didn't start start as a cedar fair park including the theming :)
This is my home park and Ive been going since I was small even before Paramount owned it. In my 20s now :)
If flight deck wasn't so painful it would be my #6 rollercoaster at the park. Backlot stunt is amazing though, you should definitely ride it if you go, it might look like a kiddie ride at first but it's a blast
Why do many whine about flight deck? "Ohhhh it hurts".... Come on, you a baby or something? Hurts what? If it hurts you need to eat more food and get some muscle.
Yukon Striker is now in Canada"s Wonderland across from Sky Hawk.
That Flip Ride I got a Record of like 78, you just gotta keep tourqing left and right to each limit, the limit will increase until you flip, but the more you torque left to right before you flip, the faster you will spin, and once you start spinning you need to hold the left or right wing as high as you can, and the opposite wing as low as you can and lock that position. It takes some core strength to hold. SO DONT FLIP RIGHT AWAY, RESIST AND KEEP TOURQING.
Yes there will be a big roller coaster that is going to Canadian theme that will be taller than Leviathan and it’s coming out in 2019!
They’re getting a big dive coaster tomorrow so that’ll add to your coaster likeliness
I think that a ride like cheetah hunt or maverick would be a pretty good thing to put where Time Warp or Flight Deck is. Another thing that I think they should do is if they take out Flight Deck (which they should) another inverted coaster but from B&M. Also, RMCing Wild Beast would be nice.
vortex covers that
they're adding a new drop coaster i think next year it's called yukon striker
Do you prefer WC to Iron Rattler?
This is my home park
Finally you did a review of it
probably my favourite part of the park is the view from windseeker. like if you look towards behemoth you can see both the glass ladies and the CN tower. awesome view. one complaint i have about the park is how nasty the changerooms are. like i was there with a friend and there was a DEAD FROG ON THE FLOOR. like just in the middle of the changeroom.
I got to wonderland every year and I have not had one problem with there service awesome rides and awesome food
I’m going to cedar point and Canadas Wonderland is my home park so idk witch one is better in your opinion
Knott's Camp Snoopy is really great too especially since it was the first
They are adding a big coaster to cw it’s called ziz it will be underground too it’s coming in 2019-2020
I was there yesterday, they have footing a new one near "VORTEX" so hopefully it'll be set up for 2019👍😆
