I get it, but they didn’t draft Justin Fields, and as much as I wanted to see him finish the movie, I want to know how the story ended, it’s unfortunate but we have Caleb Williams now, and he is more pro ready than Justin was, so hopefully he will be able to adjust quickly if any quarterback can do, he can because of the way he plays, the type of structured offense he played at USC. Walsh graduated early from Miami (Fla.) and was surprisingly available to the Dallas Cowboys. Jimmy Johnson coached Walsh in college and really liked him as well. Babe Laufenberg was the Cowboys backup quarterback in 1990.
Caleb Williams should be the Bears #1 QB as should Jaylen Daniels be the #1 QB in Washington. Be shocked if Drake Maye is starting over Jacoby Brissett in New England. In Minnesota, McCarthy has a real chance to be the #1 QB over Nick Mullens and Jalen Hall. Michael Penix will be Kirk Cousins backup, unless the injury isn’t healed. Bo Nix could start over Jared Stidham in Denver with Zack Wilson as the third string but don’t think there’s any pressure to start him immediately. If Stidham is better, Coach Payton will play him. Nix will get on the field sometime this year.

66 quarterbacks took snaps in the 2023 season. Wouldn’t be surprised if that number is pretty close to the same in 2024.
