Lol. I have one of those, and I kinda broke it with rage punching into table! Funny, I actually didnt broke it, it just popped that plastic around sensor! I put it back and now it dont make any noise anymore!
Thank you so much for the video - I came to this vid hoping to fix my Rival 110's scroll problem. I followed your instructions and discovered that my scroll wheel needed cleaning - it had so much dust and even some hairs on it. I used an old tooth brush to clean it out. Its works fine now :) My mouse is 6 years old and still going strong. Thank you so much for the video.
@@djelar6751 yes it can help with this issue. Make sure to clean out the scroll wheel housing since it is a common trap for small debris like dust and hair
With my rival 110 I have a problem with the tracking once I plug in the Rival 110 to the back of my computer port it will work for 10 seconds then after the tracking stops working how do I fix?
my b7 key got stuck (the one below scroll wheel) after i put it in my bag cant unstuckk it from the outside guess i need to open it up haha thank you for this
unfortunately for me, my issue is that the part in ur left hand at 5:01 has one of the mouse keycaps (the white thing) for my M1 button broken. cleaning alone won't fix that! :(
normal microswitches but they have extra long legs with bent pins, you should be able to find make a replacement with a normal run of the mill microswitch with some creative soldering.
@@Purkkaviritys It’s ok I just used my hot glue gun to heat up the skates and re stick them lol. Also I have another problem the paint on my rival 100 came off I would want to try to paint it but I don’t know what paint would be good for this plastic do you know what I should get?
@@Ohhiohh if you want to do painting, outside of using airbrush, it's likely that won't look good. See my 'SteelSeries Rival 310 Repaint' video for details (link: czcams.com/video/oWShSKR-964/video.html) Its possible to paint the in other ways like with a rattle can spray-paint or with brushes, but you need to do very thin layers and lots of them to make it look good and the tools themselves have their own problems, big droplets in rattle can and the paint drying with brushes.
I wish they would make the skates clip on instead of glued

Where do you buy your skates?
Local computer store or amazon usually.

Can I get away with not using skates? They are absurdly pricey here. If not, perhaps I will try some electric tape cut in the shape of skates.
you can, but the mouse wont slide that well, would just get some from aliexpress or amazon if local ones aren't available.
My mouse wheel die today.
