- Three KnK songs already... This is going faster than I expected. I guess I am less lazy than I though sometimes...
Well, this means that my favourite song is near, so I am happy :3
I'm actually getting tired of this much Kalafina, even though I like most of their songs (I don't love them, but they're really nice. With the exception of Sprinter, I love that song)

After watching movie 3, I can absolutely say Fujino is my favorite character. So tragic to get abused like that and her own father asks for Shiki to kill her. I think Fujino had every right to kill the people who raped her.

That's why Shiki didn't attack her until she killed the van driver. Shiki agreed that it was justified to kill those that abused her, and only started hunting her after she killed someone who didn't have anything to do with the gang.
The problem is that she offed all but one in her immediate rampage. And then just proceeded to go after the last dude's unrelated acquaintances in an effort to find when he's hiding.

I absolutely love Kalafina, so these are making me extremely happy. I like Kara no Kyoukai, I watched it with my boyfriend recently. In fact, it's... the only Type Moon thing I've actually watched through instead of just reading summaries.
Finally did so! I liked KnK much better, to be honest. Fate/zero was too dark for me, with Waver being the only person I didn't hate who was still alive and mostly okay at the end of everything.
I recommend watching Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works next. Fate/Zero was written as a prequel, and as such doesn't deliver a decent conclusion because it had to be left open-ended. UBW also isn't as dark as Zero and may be more to your liking.

@@venor2612 In a way yes in a way not. Fate/Zero is far more depressive and brutal IMO, whereas KnK is actually quite optimistic, specially towards the end.

Just gonna point this out, but I am pretty sure translating
「生きることに貫かれて泣いてみたい」
as
"After living through this, I'll probably be always crying"
is wrong.
For one, 「貫かれる」is the passive form of 「貫く」, "To Pierce".
Which would mean that she's saying "Being pierced by [Being Alive]" or "By the reality of being alive" or such (However you want to translate 「生きること」)
Second, I am fairly sure that 「みたい」in this context is not the "Looks like" 「みたい」, but the "Want to try"「みたい」.
First it was just a gut feeling, but after thinking about it, if it was the "Looks like", the verb prior would be in the -(r)u form:
そうするみたい - _Sou suru mitai_ - "[Subject] will do it that way it seems"
そうしてみたい - _Sou shite mitai_ - "[I] want to try doing that"
Main reason is the converbial form -te, which joins together two verbs into a single expression. You can't leave a -te form hanging, there needs to be the main verb attached to it, kind of like in the "While making breakfast, he heard a phone ringing" sentence. The exception is where you leave the -te form at the end, because then it's by default interpreted as _-te kudasai,_ but you can't attach "It seems like" to a "please do sth".
Which is why 「そうする」(Will do it that way) can join together with "It seems like"
But 「そうして」 doesn't.
So if it can't be the "It seems like", AND the -te form of 「泣く」needs the main verb to function properly, "I want to see", which is usually translated as "I want to try" seems to be the obvious choice.
After translating it this way, that entire part would read as
_With your eyes, With a kiss_
_Please give me the proof of our love_
_I want to know what it's like to cry_ (I want to try crying)
_After being pierced by the reality of living_ (After being pierced by the fact that I am alive)
Or
_I want to try [being pierced by the fact that I am alive and crying]_ again because of the -te form, joining together "Being pierced" and "Crying" into a single phrase, to which the みたい verb is then added - it depends on whether you want Crying and Being pierced to be simultaneous or if you think that she wants to cry _after_ she feels like being alive.
Both of which are in line with the remaining theme of this song, being "I want to feel that I am alive", as well as with Fujino's story arc IIRC.

TYPE-MOON is The Company that made the VNs Tsukihime and Fate/ Stay Night... Mahou Tsukai no Yoru was originally a novel made by Nasu during his College Days that he only shared with his Friends and was older than Kara no Kyoukai... It got a VN around 2010ish under TYPE-MOON...
Also... in Nasuverse... Blue is the Color of Suffering...
