Americans were receiving a higher percentage of wage increase in upper class Americans when he was president. We were also independent in the world leading producer of energy according to the non-partisan EIA. Even Joe Biden had to complement Trump on, ‘Operation Warp Speed’. At the end of the Trump term, we were still moving forward with an 8% rate of growth and a 1.4% rate of inflation. Perhaps this is why people voted for him and will vote for him again

Due respect to Biden, but it’s very difficult to justify participating in politics at all when you know the person speaking for your opinions can barely complete a sentence. I think when Hillary ran, some people were introduced to the idea that a woman could actually be president. The fact that Kamala was VP maybe gave them the nudge they needed. I mean Hillary did win the popular vote, so it was already accepted by a LOT of people.

actually, it's a sign of a healty democracy. The only countries in which one candidate gets 80% of the vote are ones where the elections are rigged, literally, the ONLY places. Go back through history of all the major democracies, there are rare occasions where one person or party gets 60-70% of the votes, but on the whole it's usually close to 50%.
Part of living in a democracy is dealing with the fact that other people disagree with you.

Technically, a recession did happen in 2022 when the second and third quarters both saw a negative GDP. That is the classic definition of recession. Changing the definition didn't change the effect on the economy.
