    superb tutorial but on the motion matching project (the uefn character) the character does not shrink from the trunk, the legs the arms the head yes but the trunk of the body does not want to change size, is there a solution? thank you and great tutorial

    does this work for first person character? Great tutorial video.

      Hey! This should work in first person as well. One thing that may be different is the camera itself. You'll need to ensure that it scales appropriately. Good luck on your project! :D

    Hey there! Thanks for the tutorial. I followed the guide up until 14:00, but every time I try to use the shrink ability, my editor crashes and I get the error:
    Assertion failed: (Index >= 0) & (Index < ArrayNum) [File:D:\build\++UE5\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\Core\Public\Containers\Array.h] [Line: 752] Array index out of bounds: 0 from an array of size 0
    UnrealEditor_Chaos
    (I am on 5.2 by the way, and my blueprint contains no arrays)

    • @BreezeGameStudios
      @BreezeGameStudios  Před rokem

      this suggests that you are calling an index in an array out of the range of the array's available index. It would help to be able to see the code or nodes that you are getting this error at 😊

    My particles remain on the character long after the scale has completed, unlike what I see in the video. Any ideas how to alter that? I've dug and am unable to adjust that.

      Figured it out. The timeline track was not set to the correct length.

      hmmm. I'm not sure. I have not come across this. I can try to recreate when I get a chance. Any extra information would be helpful, any differences in setup to customize for your project?

      This is true! I definitely should have also changed and scaled the walking speed, respectively! I kind of rushed this video and should have included it. 🤦‍♂️
