Got my 2022 4Runner Premium last month, ordered in late December. Ive made time to learn all the features hands on using the manual as a guide. I’m so happy with it. Warning - Be careful opening up rear hatch back, don’t stand too close as it’s not a controlled auto opening door. It knock over a friend standing to close. Doesn’t stop me for loving the vehicle.
Got my SR5 Premium in July mine is the magnetic grey with the xp package the third row and the Tule basket on top, absolutely love it and it rides so nice.👍

Just ordered a tacoma sr v6 2wd access cab white. Can't wait to get it. Just want a good basic truck. Wouldn't mind a walk around of one if you have it. Not many videos of that truck.
I'm getting a 2022 Toyota 4runner TRD off road premium..red..TRD pro wheels..black out package...im super excited. So disappointed that it does not have a subwoffer. Im already going to have to up grade sound. Unfortunate I have to put another 5k upgrades on a 51 k vehicle..so sad

Jeff, I have a deposit on one coming in about two weeks. Are you seeing most of the ones coming with the XP Predator package to have the Nitto Ridge Grapplers? My local dealer can't tell me what tires will come on it. Basically they say it is whatever tires Toyota has a contract with at Port. My vehicle in coming to Alabama. I'm hoping for the Ridge Grapplers (All Terrain base, with Mud Tire Tread) but being told it could be Tera Grapplers (All Terrain) or even Goodyear Wranglers!
I just purchased thr 2022 set premium with xp package. I was told to download the toyota app and that's how I could start my car. I haven't tried it yet, but worth a try.
Nice choice for your wife's sister Jeff. My wife loves 4Runner because she can drive without any sympathy. When there is a snow storm she can just drive just like any other day and I don't have to drop her.
Maybe it's just for the limited and TRD Pro, but paying for the premium audio in the SR or TRD Off Road does not get you JBL speakers. JBL speakers are pictured on Toyotas web site for 2022, but they weren't on the vehicle Jeff reviewed. Maybe the Limited has the remote start and JBL's

Thanks for the review. I've leased 4-Runners since 1987. Just Got My 2023 SR5 Premium with a Third Seat - There is Floor Mat in the Cargo Area. Can you please demonstrate How to Attach the Cargo Net. ( I'm using my 2018 Cargo Net) The net clips are under the Mat and the mat lifts up and stays up when attached. What am I doing wrong. Thanks
It says if it has automatic start in under the hood. Should be a yellow sticker that states it. Open that hood and look underneath it. My 2015 sr5p has it.

The most base level TRP ORP without any additions. That is what I want. I have already gotten 3 quotes of $47,000 OTD. That includes everything already. But the car in this video, I am sure it is over $50,000, for the Out The Door price. And it does not even have a rear locker and crawl control.

The pros take months if not years to get delivered, my regular sr5 premium got delivered in 4 months, i know the pros are also going over msrp but who knows luckily you will receive it soon!
Yeah, we weren’t planning to buy a new vehicle this year but we have our name down for a three row SR5 Premium for that stated reason. No idea when one will come in and out f it will have exactly what we want but those are the times we are living in. Just happy it didn’t require a deposit and that it’s not marked up, which is kind of crazy to have to say.

That remote engine start is absolutely worthless from Toyota, I never and will never use it anyway, as what's the point of using it and as soon as you open the door it shuts off the engine !!! Even if you start it with the Toyota App, doesn't do any good. It's ridiculous and worthless.
I didn’t know I could do that remotely with my 4Runner Premium, I have the Toyota app. I’ll try for the hell of it. I assume the auto shut off when you touch the handle is for security reasons. I too don’t see a use for it but in a cold climate starting up from indoors a few minutes would still be a nice feature. My driving habits and attached garage don’t justify auto start feature.
There is a simple way around it, get the remote start installed at the dealer by a Toyota certified remote start installer. It will work with your FOB or it’s own FOB, my car does not shut off when I open the door, I get in and put the key in the ignition and car goes through the process of turning on. Now, my Toyota is a key start, not a push button, however they do have the same aftermarket remote start for push button vehicles. I don’t know if the push button start changes the sequence and shuts car off when door opens.
@@7aramkeda334 Those who live in cold weather states and leave their vehicles outside can warm up the car without it being stolen. Agree that it turns off when you touch handle but your car will be warm.

Remote start is threw the Toyota conect app. You use your phone. Ps apple doesn’t work that grate. Android works better.
