    Some people have this doubt that Can a IFS keep this Diplomatic Passport for lifetime? - for this, only those who have attained the rank of Secretary in the MEA, they can retain the diplomatic passport for lifetime.
    Any rank less than secretary is not given dip.passport after retirement.

    • @NitinYadav-wi9vo
      @NitinYadav-wi9vo Před 3 lety

      To give an honest answer. Technically there is nothing barring you from writing the exam. But you need to decide whether you can dedicate yourself enough to clear the exam. If you couldn't complete a bachelor's degree course in one attempt, that raises the question what has changed since then that you will be able to suddenly clear the most competitive exam in the country. Unless ofcourse there were other circumstances that affected you , then you yourself need to decide. Not trying to discourage you. 👍

      The salary is the same. The foreign allowance is additional based on the country, so even if at worst they didn't even get an allowance in Bhutan, how can the total salary be less than India. Even that case is impossible as there will always be some foreign allowance.
