The persistent desire to link the effective exploration of the Moon with the regular delivery of people to it and their presence on it will absorb an exorbitant amount of resources and time. This is more of a planetary show of prestige than a rational strategy. And most likely, resources will run out before long-term goals are achieved.

NASA's Artimis is Late ?? ...... it Seems like Magical Musk is the one with plaguing Progress Problems ... But , isn't the SpaceX motto : Build it , Break it , Fix it , repeat ? ... Which is usually about 20 to 30 times ... Falcon 9 took 20 times ... the BF Boca Chica Booster is up to 12x ... the Raptors are on 3x and the Starship is in the 30s ! ... And it's just taken off ! ... Now it has to learn to Land on Earth in freaking Chopsticks !! ... Then it has to Refill , Fly to the Moon , Dock , Land with people , Take off from there and Return to Earth ... LOL ! ... How many Breakages , Fixes and Rebuilds is that going to take ... including Crashes on the Moon ... Late ?? ... It looks like Mumbling Musk is the one needing Fast Forward ...
