    Great video mate, some good points there... I’ll have to stop taking mine to Madinc and bring it to you for a detail 🤔

      Cheers mate 👍 I think this isolation and social distancing is making me go a little OCD 🧐

    Don't use spray degreaser or any harsh ones. It clouds aluminium and plastics.
    Just use CT18 mixed with warm water and keep hitting it all, or any PH neutral degreaser

      Cheers mate, will keep this in mind 👍

    I use a gurney with soap in the wash bottle then use the car wash nozzle to rinse off.
    You can reduce pressure by not getting to close.
    I agree about not letting it build up so every time I wash the car I do the engine bay

      For sure, there are a few ways to clean this area. No allowing the build up and keeping a clean engine bay is very important for these off-road vehicles.
      Cheers, Nathan.

      For sure! As soon as this isolation lock down is done, we’ll be out! 👍

    Good information thanks. Also just wondering what model pre-cleaner do you have on the Safari Armax snorkel

      Thanks John. So I use the H000858 to suit the 4” inlet. rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5575556341&toolid=10001&campid=5338630196&customid=&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FDonaldson-Pre-Cleaner-H000858-inlet-4-or-102mm%2F251886182782%3Fepid%3D1461054042%26hash%3Ditem3aa596217e%3Ag%3A-MgAAOSw43haE2wt

    Whats the " fins" on top of intercooler?
    Havnt seen them in your previous videos

    • @XploringOz
      @XploringOz  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah, they are just the standard plastic shroud for the LC200. I would assume it's been designed to assist in evenly distributing the airflow over the intercooler.
      Cheers, Nathan.

    So you didn't have to cover up the injectors or anything else under the bonnet?
    Thanks again
    👍👍👍

      Negative, just make sure to be careful around electronics and make sure it's all dried up at the end.
      Cheers, Nathan.

    How often do you clean it?

    • @XploringOz
      @XploringOz  Před 3 lety

      Not very often, even less now that I have a catch can fitted.
      I think this could be added to a once a year maintenance schedule.

      Maybe, but looks great and easy to detect problems if they arise... 👍
